@Dave_dub
there's nothing happening and it's happening too fast.

@Dave_dub Don't recall any "oh not again"s in Gerrard's case, but like I say memory's not great now - on the small stuff anyway!

@michaelevansuk See Gillespie, see Gomez. This'll be it from now on, sadly. Can't think of any player with numerous early setbacks overcoming them to be star regulars.

John Barnes vs Derby County (A) 1990/1991

Elton John: Crocodile Rock Single (1972) A Retro Rock 'n' Roll Romp "Crocodile Rock" is a song by Elton John and Bernie Taupin, recorded in the summer of 1972 at Château d'Hérouville studio in France (credited as "Strawberry Studios" on the album). This was the same studio where John and his team had worked on the Honky Château album. Released in the UK on October 27, 1972 and in the U.S. on November20 1972, it was a pre-release single for his 1973 album Don't Shoot Me I'm Only the Piano Player. The song became John's first U.S. number-one hit, holding the top spot for three weeks starting 3 February 1973. It was certified Gold on 5 February 1973 and Platinum on 13 September 1995 by the RIAA. In Canada, it topped the RPM 100 national singles chart for four weeks between 17 February and 10 March. Additionally, it was the first single released under the MCA label (catalogue #40000) after its creation, as John had previously been signed with Uni.
