The number of men, many of them pastors(!), I’ve encountered who are more concerned about false accusations (EXTREMELY rare) than they are about actual sexual assault (extremely common) is so disheartening for me. I can’t imagine how hurtful that must be for actual victims.

I guess we should also pray extra for people who are lacking freedom and also lacking the hope and knowledge of Christ and eternity with God. That’d be ++ tough.

Anyways... praying for freedom tonight. Freedom from molestation for children, freedom for slaves, freedom for trafficked sex workers, freedom for bond laborers. Praying explicitly for Christians experiencing these things. Our community needs to wake the fuck up.

TWU is a good example of this in our own community... a massive 3 year public “PRAY for FREEDOM” campaign to exclude LGBT+ people from their law school... as if the most important freedom issue in our Christian lives is theirs.. and people buy in! Insane. Looks bad.

Not sure whether to laugh or cry 🤷🏼‍♂️ I know it’s a meme...but this is legit par for the Christian course. Sometimes think Jesus and true Christians would be better off without the Christian “community” as it exists.
