So, basically, every iPhone that has been released has either been a flagship or the base model for a flagship. Same for the Google pixel and Samsung S series phones.
Most of these phones, an iPhone 11 for example, still receives iOS updates. Despite being about 6 generations older, it still takes absolutely fantastic pictures and runs smoothly.
The chips on these phones are better than what a 400k Tecno phone will give you. The chips affect performance, image processing, data processing and a couple of other things.
If you bought an iPhone 14 for 500k, a phone that was made 3 years ago, I’ll bet my life that you’d get more years of iOS updates compared to when you buy a 2026 Tecno.
Buying a brand new Tecno as a young, Tech-savvy person isn’t bad. But you could be getting better value for your money with other used brands
