Not because beauty saves anyone, but because the God who took flesh redeems creation itself. The Church you’re critiquing has spent 2000 years reflecting that truth in architecture, art, music, and sacrament. You’re trying to frame Christianity as if matter doesn’t matter. But once the Word became flesh, that frame collapses. Ironically, that framing tends toward the same mistake the early Church rejected in Gnosticism.

This post is aimed at you, young Protestant man. And the message is: your faith is embarrassing and theirs is beautiful. Christ was born in a barn. He picked fishermen, not professors. He never held office, never built an institution, never asked permission to speak. And He changed everything. I hold the door REGARDLESS. There is no word ‘irregardless’ If it existed it would mean the opposite of how you used it. Regardless means unconditionally (without regard to a factor). The prefix ir- negates the base word. Thus, NOT unconditionally, a double negative that while ungrammatical would mean depending on.
