I attended in good faith and do not believe I violated any rules—unless, of course, Mr. Lappartient believes he has jurisdiction over every aspect of my personal and professional life. I will be seeking legal counsel to assess the validity and legality of the UCI President’s public statement and actions. I intend to explore all available avenues to prove that Mr. Lappartient was wrong to issue such a declaration and take legal action against him if needed. I will report further once I have obtained the necessary legal clarity. Until then: Vive Le Vélo. And Vive Le Tour!

@nedboulting I rented a car to drive to France with my wife’s eBike. It was awful, the Very Large car rental company forgot to get an automatic. Manual was not fun. And it was bloody uncomfortable, even an upgrade. Couldn’t rent an eBike in France easily in the tiny villages in the regions.
