Suddenly, phrases like “bringing down your costs so you can get ahead” (straight from Liberal talking points) are fair game in taxpayer funded ad campaigns Same party. Same playbook. New name on the benefit, new loophole in the rules Every dollar spent on these glossy ads comes out of Canadian taxpayers’ pockets... money that could go to actual services (or servicing the debt) instead of political marketing. Governments of all stripes do info campaigns, but when they rebrand existing programs, slap on slogans, and pump them during tough times, it’s pure propaganda dressed up as public service @markjcarney
