So let me get this right. Agent calls Dabo to tell them Ole Miss is tampering. Agent will send proof if Dabo gives player an extra year and a Million. Dabo declines and hold a press conference about evidence that he doesn’t have. College world goes nuts, but yet and still no evidence. Did you ever think the agent is trying to get more money and possibly lied about the whole Golding text. Way too many what ifs to have a press conference.

I’ve got no problem with Head Coaches calling out other Head Coaches on tampering, but something to consider and this is where Dabo’s own naïveté comes into play. BREAKING: Clemson portal LB commit Luke Ferreli has enrolled at Ole Miss. Ferreli, the 2025 ACC Defensive Rookie of the Year, signed with Clemson and enrolled in classes over a week ago. He has been attending classes, team meetings, and workouts over this period. Ferreli, who was set to make 800k from Clemson, was originally offered 7 figures from Pete Golding personally on the final day of the portal. He laughed at this offer and reported the tampering to Clemson, sending them proof of the texts. After being confronted personally by Clemson, Rebels HC Pete Golding doubled the offer to $2m+. Clemson still thought they were in good standing with Ferreli based on what he’d told them, until they could not get in touch with him. It’s ludicrous that you can sign with a program. Enroll into classes. Attend classes. Go to team meetings. Participate in workouts. And the enter the portal days later. What are we doing!
