@DavidFeder curious have you upgraded validators to latest Ubuntu or at least now one major release back? I know mines still on Ubuntu 24 and now they have Ubuntu 26 that came out over the weekend. I believe last time I tried with Ubuntu 25, something didn't work properly, so I'm debating if I want to try Ubuntu 26 now for my validator or just stick to 24 with latest updates hmm.

People that spend time hacking take absolutely massive risk. The laws around hacking are actually quite harsh, so harsh that hackers often kill themselves rather than go to court. Maybe AI will get people at risk of spending their time doing criminal things, to vibe code honest things instead.

#PulseChain has been missing ~30% of its slots since exactly 22:00 UTC on 2026-04-29. Mean block time over the last 1000 blocks: 14.9s (target 10s). p99 gap: 50s. Max: 70s. ~80 min of "lost" block production over 4 hours. Verified independently across 3 RPCs (rpc.pulsechain.com, rpc-pulsechain.g4mm4.io, my own indexer) - identical block timestamps, so not an artifact. Hourly miss rate jumped from 5% to 29% in a single hour. All gaps are exact multiples of 10s - proposers missing slots, not slow execution. No public PulseChain client release in April 2026 explains the timing. lighthouse-pulse v2.5.1 was 2026-03-28; go-pulse hasn't shipped since 2025-09-30. Anyone in the validator community know what's happening?

I was here when Bitcoin dropped ~95%. I was here when Ethereum dropped ~95%. They went on to make new all time highs again and again.

Prices down? Yep. Lots of prices are down. Gold's down 20%, BTC is down ~50% and ETH is down ~60% Should the guy who invented gold be improving his invention? Turns out gold's been around for a long time, and has worked fine for a long time. Doesn't stop people from bidding it up and selling it down. You can have the best stuff in the world, and if people choose or have to click red instead of green, you can't program their behavior. You can just keep doing the best you can do, it usually works out. I choose to keep working hard instead of cryfagging. Usually works.
