@JamesOKeefeIII I believe in the Vineyard parable. I've been given responsibility for a small piece of God's vineyard/garden and will be held accountable for how well I dress my small piece. So, I do. The ideas I'm mulling just brought Wall-E to mind. I suppose I am Wall-E.

@DavidGTerrell1 @jmbrim3 We don’t need anymore emails. I got EIGHT church emails from my ward/stake just this weekend alone, on top of other leadership emails and official emails from the Church.

🚨 HOLY CRAP! An overwhelming poll just found 81% PERCENT of Americans support voter ID, 74% support citizenship to vote, and 68% support the SAVE America Act — Harvard There is absolutely ZERO excuse for our Senate GOP to be on vacation right now. Secure our elections! 🇺🇸

The real reason Dems HOWLED when Trump sent ICE to the airports is that they knew it would solve their purposefully induced chaos. And so it has. A reasonable Trump governing action defeated Dems unreasonable but deliberate plan to inflict pain on the American people.

I apologize to all my regular followers for the rants this morning. But I need someone to explain this to me with crayons. I have never once seen @RobManess or @BuzzPatterson or @MCCCANM trashing commercial airline crews who volunteer to fly soldiers and equipment into combat zones. NOT ONCE. Maybe I missed it but… NEVER NEVER HAVE I SEEN IT B U T EVERY SINGLE DAY Some Navy officer comes on this app to trash 🇺🇸 ship crews. And when you call them out, they come out of the woodwork to dogpile you and then run off to their little private knitting circles on Bluesky and Reddit. The Marines love us. The Air Force thanks us for delivering their fuel and bombs. The Army is a mixed bag. But the Navy? The one branch that literally cannot sail anywhere without the Merchant Marine alongside? Someone please explain. With crayons. Please explain why it wouldn’t even cross a USAF vet’s mind to publicly mocking a Civil Air Patrol pilot or an airline captain for risking their life in combat airlifts but U.S. Merchant Mariners are fair game for harassment by the Navy. Why? I honestly don’t get it. P.S. And don’t tell me it’s because I’m the problem. I was on this app for ten years watching nicely before I started getting mad.

You treat an entire profession like garbage for decades. You go out of your way to call them civilians. You refuse to put defensive systems on their ships and send them into active combat defenseless. The young, motivated people all quit. Then you’re shocked when what’s left doesn’t meet your standards. So you yell at the survivors to make themselves “combat efficient” on zero training budget. You yell at the old people “you want to be taken seriously, get your asses in shape” No, Blake. The U.S. Merchant Marine isn’t “fat old boozy pirates.” We have young, fit professionals doing the most mentally demanding offshore work on the planet. They just refuse to work for the Navy. Because of exactly this attitude from Naval Officers like you. Let’s go Blake. Let’s go @FarvaPrice. Get out of that bubble and come with me to the US Merchant Marine Academy, let’s visit @MaritimeCollege, come up to Mass Maritime. Come see all the not fat, not old, not drunk, not lazy, high IQ midshipmen doing more physically demanding, more academically demanding work than USNA at the top of their game who refuse to work for the Navy because ya’ll give us zero respect. Or we can go visit the fit, young, groomed, motivated Federal Service Academy @UsmmaO midshipmen floating and under fire aboard five USMM ships in the Persian Gulf right now because your DDGs refuse to leave the safety of the Arabian gulf to go in and escort them out. Or I can introduce you to the mothers of those young midshipmen - merchant Mariners yes but also Navy Reserve brothers like you - who are on their knees praying everyday your Navy will do their legal obligations and go protect their sons and daughters. What Blake. What exactly do you think those young mids are going to tell their classmates when (or IF) they get back to campus? You think they are going to have nice things to say about the Navy that cut tail and ran out of the Persian Gulf without them?? F YOU F ALL YOU NAVY PRICKS

Every time I hear some woke screenwriter or reviewer talk about the need for “morally complex” plots or “morally grey” heroes, I think of this quote from Nietzsche. “They muddy the water, to make it seem deep.”

Jet fuel prices in Europe have now risen over +100% in a matter of weeks. Soon, the discussion will be about how many rate hikes Europe will need to fight the massive wave of inflation heading their way.

So Senators have no issue with a vote in the middle of the night on a bill that no one has read. But “for the sake of institution” they want to keep the zombie filibuster. News flash. The senate is broken and it is past time to get rid of the 60 vote cloture threshold.

The US is caught in a staggering cycle: we absorb millions of migrants and fund their homelands. In 2025, tens of billions left in remittances, including a massive $64B to Mexico alone. Meanwhile, 53% of their households here rely on government programs.

This morning in church we had three youth speakers testifying of Christ and how he is the Savior of the World. One of them said the most profoundest statement in the first sentence of her talk, a statement that I’ve heard many, many times. “The most important thing in life is to know that Jesus Christ is the Savior of the world,” This time it hit hard and again the Spirit testified to me that Jesus Christ lives and died for our sins. He loves us and wants us to follow him.

@ranix1946 @JustintheN3rd I've been a member since 1982. Ive seen a definite increase in an emphasis on Christ since I joined as a young adult. Plus, members are people, and people are often scatterbrained and shallow. IMO, the Apostles are the gold standard.

@JustintheN3rd I went to LDS fifty three years ago and they had a testimony on why they joined the church. They all loved the church because of their social programs, fellowship and such. NOT ONE JOINED BECAUSE HE FELT LOST AND IN NEED OF A SAVIOR. NONE.

@zanehkoch Compare the wavelength of the signals to the length of various bacteria and viruses. When the biological length is an even fraction or multiple of the wavelength, it forms a resonant antenna, warms, & can hill the virus/bacteria. Microwaves work that way on water molecules.

for a while i've had a slight fear that the bluetooth from my airpods could be frying my brain this weekend i pulled the raw data from a $30m government study of 1,679 mice blasted with cell phone radiation and reanalyzed it what i found was...not what I expected? 🧵
