I don’t know to what extent we disagree on this. The quoted post in the OP is, unless I’m wrong, about a case in which there was a problem with premature amniotic sac rupture or whatever and the baby was still alive as evidenced by a heartbeat, and supposedly this situation was called miscarrying or a miscarriage, and people would support taking out a living baby prior to viability, or killing the baby and taking out the baby’s body. I oppose that. Regarding the thing you posted, that was a different thing, in which doctors got punished for several things, none of which were a refusal to take out a living baby, prior to viability, from the mother’s womb, correct?

As a pro-life OB practicing in a pro-life state, let me be clear: refusing to intervene when a woman experiences an inevitable miscarriage, as described in this article, is medical malpractice. ProPublica wants you to believe these tragedies prove pro-life laws harm women. The reality is doctors and the hospital failed to act when the law allowed them to.

Abortion often involves a male victim. People shouldn’t be allowed to do anything they want with their bodies. It should be women’s bodies, the government’s choice, as it is with many other things, including murder of a born person (a woman is not allowed to use her body to murder a born person), and theft (a woman is not allowed to use her body to commit theft).
