Today @SaskPower announced that the Bekevar Wind Facility near Kipling was online. So I drove out there and found not one of the 36 turbines costing more than $300 million were turning. My truck phone charger had more output than the 200 megawatt facility which can supposedly power 100,000 homes. SaskPower did not build this, own it or operate it. It’s built owned and operated by an independent power producer.
