This morning in Nganapangkuz, Bichibich, the 9th Intercommunal Governance Structures (ICGS) meeting begins, bringing communities together for the next four days. We are honoured to have the Chief Administrator of GPAA, H.E. Gola Boyoi Gola, and the Governor of Jonglei State, H.E. Dr Riek Gai Kok, both committed to this process. For six years, we have walked this road together. Despite setbacks, we keep going. Over the coming days, the focus is clear: accountability and local ownership. This peace must be built, led, and sustained by the communities themselves. #SSOX #Jonglei #GPAA #Peace

In this video, I introduce the newly developed airstrip in Bichibich. Establishing border centres is one of the strategies we are using to connect communities between Jonglei and GPAA. These centres help build trust, strengthen relationships, and create practical links between the communities living along the border. So far, we have established Wuno and Nganapangkuz in Nanaam, GPAA. The work in Kadiang on the Jonglei side is almost complete. We are now left with Weikol, and we hope work there will begin soon. #SSOX #Peace #Jonglei #GPAA

All teams have now returned from the road openings. Despite the challenges along the way, the mission was a success. We are now continuing the next phase of the work, supporting the recovery of cattle and the safe return of children abducted during the recent raid. Today, we were in Manyabol meeting local authorities to review progress on the cattle recovery efforts. #SSOX #GPPA #Peace

@DavidNyuol GPAA has been suffering for a very long time, I really pity the conditions they have to endure, dry seasons sees no vegetables in market, they eat meat every day, in Pibor and rainy seasons it's flooded, yet they have government reps. Sigh 😢 take care David and be blessed.
