The delegation for the ICGS Meeting has arrived in Bic Bic Payam, Gumurk County. This is the 9th ICGS Meeting where communities dialogue and find amicable ways to resolve endless conflicts, inter-communal fights, cattle raiding, and child and women abduction. Conflict has been a major issue among the communities of GPAA and Jonglei states for so many years. It has led to the destruction of properties, lives have been lost, and so many children and women have not been reunited with their loved ones. In our last two meetings, we have seen the impact of the ICGS dialogue through Peace Canal, POF South Sudan, and other various peace partners, where kids have been returned to their homes, and some youth are abolishing the raiding.
