@docvlok The GCS should only be used in the context for which it was validated - specific trauma scenarios. We can do much better for the rest. AVPU is a good start, but maybe time to look at something better?

I’ve never loved the GCS and even after many years of practice still have to revert to mnemonics to remember exactly what I am calculating. Time that could have been spent much better doing other things. Is it time to #ditchtheGCS ? doi.org/10.1016/j.anne…
