@bbcthree She couldn't cut her hair anyway. Scissors were first used in Asia so probably best to close up shop and us Brits can just tear our hair out with our hands from now on if it gets too long.

@peterrhague "Liberals" think as long as it doesn't affect them or their family directly (yet), then the people who are affected are paying recompense for the sins of our ancestors, because Europeans were doing the same things as everyone else just more successfully & further afield.

@LLawliet126 @RichardHanania It's completely normal for 17 year old boys to want to fuck hot women. It always has been; it always will be. Whether or not they can GET the women to reciprocate is where they struggle. None of this is trauma.

Wrong! I don’t find anyone at “fault” for this situation. But, yes I believe a 17 year old criminal was obviously the instigator and pursuer when he had a relationship with a female therapist because I’m not a retard. The job she had doesn’t overrule basic human nature. And if you have to choose a “victim” here it’s obviously the woman, who was likely physically afraid of the guy and under his mental control.

Cosmopolitan Reactionary
I feel like we’ve become so accustomed to mass immigration that we rarely stop to think about how absurd the whole thing is. People from South Sudan, one of the poorest countries on Earth, with a GDP per capita of around $370 a year, are now living in Britain. What do South Sudanese people actually offer Britain? (I know it’s radical to consider the benefits to the native population, but indulge me). In countries like the UAE they consider these things. This man would never be allowed in because he doesn’t make the lives of Emiratis better. He would have made their lives worse, much worse. If the argument is that Britain has a humanitarian obligation to accept people living in such extreme poverty, where does that principle end? South Sudan has a population of roughly 12 million. If poverty alone establishes the obligation, why one person rather than the remaining millions? What’s the end goal here?

🚨 Failed asylum seeker Both Douk Deng, 21, from South Sudan, walks into a Greater Manchester school armed with a hammer, hatchet, kitchen knife AND petrol just to “get attention” because the Home Office wasn’t sorting his status fast enough. School was empty. Thankfully. Three failed asylum claims. Still here. Still raging. Still free to stroll up to schools with weapons. Two years in jail. Half of it on licence. This is what “compassion” looks like when the system refuses to remove people who’ve already been rejected. How many more “attention-seeking” incidents until someone actually gets hurt?

@DavidSelling @RichardHanania Yes this is how people think. It's also a very strong point in favor of Richard's thesis that law influences culture and thought far more than we realize.

At some point, people will hypothesize that the way British institutions treated Arday was a racist conspiracy because they will not be able to grasp that its leadership class, or any leaderships class, could have been as lobotomized as it in fact was
ripx4nutmeg@ripx4nutmeg

When Jason Arday was named Cambridge's youngest black professor, the BBC made at least 5 documentaries about him and gave him his own radio series. He's now been exposed as a fantasist and plagiarist, and the BBC has ... so far completely ignored this story.

I had a conversation with a girl in college who literally actually did not know that mammals have sexually dimorphic roles. She truly did not know that whatever primate we were discussing had different physical sizes, the mothers stayed with and cared for the babies while the males were much more physically aggressive, etc. She actually believed the crap the culture brainwashed us with in the 80s and '90s that all gender roles, and all sexual differences except for the means of reproduction, are societally learned.

A great deal of leftism really just is refusal to understand - or even tabooing of - the very obvious. "Why do we expect women and not Evil MEN to view childcare and home management as a primary option?" *Because women carry the kids for nine months, need months after that to recover, and then prove much more interested in taking care of children - and this cycle will happen 2-3 times in life?

In some sense what you have with this stuff are college students who are smarter than average taking the societal messaging around prison to its logical conclusion. I mean, she’s basically right here that prison isn’t going to make her rapist turn into somebody better. But she just needs to take a step back and realize that that’s a ridiculous, fanciful standard, at which point she can do the real work of rethinking the whole thing from the ground up.

NYU Student explains to Nick Shirley why she would let rapists walk free This is an actual NYU student explaining, on camera to Nick Shirley, why she would prefer her own rapist remain free on the streets. Suicidal empathy. Shirley: "Let's just say somebody who has raped a woman." Student: "Totally." Shirley: "Would you like them to be out in the street?" Student: "I think my answer is yes. Even though that's a challenging answer to say." Shirley: "So if you got raped, would you like your rapist to be out in the street?" Student: "Well, let me finish, because I have been raped and they are out in the street, and I'm not sure them going to jail is a solution to whatever's going on inside their heart or even my own heart that contributed to that experience that I'm having. And I don't want more people to get raped, but I don't know for certain that going into a jail in the United States is going to shift anything inside of their operating system so that they'll make a different choice again." Shirley: "Wow. Well, thank you guys so much for your time. And is there one last message you'd like to give to the people about potential the rise of communism or freeing the people inside the prisons?" Student: "Just free yourself from the prison in your heart and then maybe we."

For those that want a “15 years later” update on whether fracking was safe: - Since 2010, 300,000 shale wells were fracked all across the United States - No groundwater issues - Nobody got sick - Hotspots of drilling are thriving You were lied to.

You have to salute Burnham's ambition. He wants to fix homelessness, get NEETs into work, get energy bills down, fix social care, and tackle the cost of living, but none of these issues can be tackled long term without addressing the faulty assumptions underpinning the current settlement. Homelessness isn't going to resolve without securing the border. You can't get NEETs into work when benefits pay more than working and nobody is hiring, and when immigrant labour will do the job cheaper. You can't fix social care when you're adding more dependents all the time. You can't raise taxes when there's nothing left to tax. You can't fix the cost of living while ramping up energy costs. If you're not willing to look at the fundamentals then all you have to work with are sticking plasters until you run out of money. We are all bored of saying this and that's why we're angry.
