@SanguineAgnosti Plenty of explanation from others but this is a purposefully misleading clip. Netanyahu is quoting Will Durant and context makes clear his meaning.

People on the right side of history don’t have to chop clips out of context They can just be honest. Consider why, if these people are so righteous, why do they have to be so dishonest?

This is just human nature, although it's amplified in poorer countries, I'm sure. Years ago, I worked in a staffing agency that handled "day laborers" and I would dispatch them to available jobs in the morning. I was amazed at how well guys knew the welfare systems, give-away programs, etc., and could navigate through to get as much free stuff as possible. I would say, "If you'll just put that effort and know how towards one of these jobs, you'll get hired on permanently and can move up the chain", but very few ever did. Most of these guys (race/ethnicity didn't matter - white/black/brown) were good guys, it's just that that's all they knew to get ahead or keep their heads above water.

Having traveled for mission work, in many countries fraud / bribery is not really seen as wrong. Its just the way the world works, an acceptable way to advance your family / clan / tribe. So… A) it’s kind of muscle-memory for a lot of cultures from instincts they’ve developed for generations B) many of these cultures have no moral opposition to doing it C) when we import people en masse from countries with these cultures (esp without screening) we shouln’t be surprised to find things like $8Bn in fraud schemes I’m a Christian and we SHOULD love all people, but love ≠ naïveté

How does an immigrant, straight off the boat, doesn’t speak English fluently, from a country with a lower than average IQ… Come here and IMMEDIATELY understand the intricacies of defrauding the government to make enough money to afford more than I can? I understand they teach each other, but who was the first? If they’re all dumb (which sorry to say, from Nick’s footage, that appears to be likely) who is helping them keep up the grift? Who are the American traitors at the top? I want a Hunger Games style deportation ceremony where we put them all in a little room, draw their names one by one, and announce what 3rd world country is about to become their new home. I want to see them be marched into giant military cargo planes lined up on the tarmac ready to take them to their new land of opportunity that same day. I want banishments.

🚨 Here is the full 40 minutes of my crew and I exposing California fraud, Minnesota was big but California is even bigger... We uncovered over $170,000,000 in fraud as these fraudsters live in luxury with no consequences. Like it and share it, the fraud must STOP. We ALL work way too hard and pay too much in taxes for this to be happening. These fraudsters have been able to defraud American taxpayers for years without any pushback from the public and politicians. It is time to EXPOSE IT ALL and end America's fraud crisis.

Going through this letter in detail: "Iran posed no imminent threat to the United States." Neither did ISIS. And yet you applaud their defeat later on in your letter. Just because an adversary isn't an "imminent threat" doesn't mean you should wait until that threat is "imminent" and much more costly to deal with, if their trajectory is headed that way. "I support the values and the foreign policies you campaigned on in 2016, 2020, and 2024, which you enacted in your first term." Those include repeated commitments to prevent Iran from getting a nuclear weapon. "In your first administration, you understood better than any modern President how to decisively apply military power without getting us drawn into never-ending wars. You demonstrated this by killing Qasam Solamani and by defeating ISIS." Then why aren't you giving him the benefit of the doubt? We're less than three weeks in to Epic Fury. It took quite a bit longer than that for President Trump to finish off ISIS. "Early in this administration, high-ranking Israeli officials and influential members of the American media deployed a misinformation campaign that wholly undermined your America First platform and sowed pro-war sentiments to encourage a war with Iran." Source? I noticed a misinformation campaign going the other direction - from people like Tucker who suggested 20,000 Americans would almost certainly die if we knocked out the Iranian nuclear facilities last June. "This echo chamber was used to deceive you into believing that Iran posed an imminent threat to the United States." THIS is the part that''s just incredibly patronizing. Trump has six years of experience being President, He has access to the best assessments made by his intelligence community and his military. Suggesting he fell victim to an external influence operation instead of going with the advice of his appointed senior advisors is patronizing and insulting. "This was a lie and is the same tactic the Israelis used to draw us into the disastrous Iraq War." THAT is false. The record is clear that the Israeli government cautioned against American entry into Iraq. Netanyahu giving supportive testimony in Congress while he was a private citizen (after the decision to invade had been made) does not contradict that. "As a veteran who deployed to combat 11 times and as a Gold Star husband who lost by beloved wife Shannon in a war manufactured by Israel..." We're all sorry for your loss. But even if you are right about Israel encouraging us to invade Iraq (which you are not, as discussed), how are you still blaming them for America's continued presence in Iraq seventeen years later? None of this is remotely persuasive, Joe, and it's deeply insulting to the President who endorsed your Congressional campaigns and entrusted you with an important National Security position. That said, your conscience is your conscience, and given that these are your beliefs, it is indeed best that you no longer serve in the administration.
Joe Kent@joekent16jan19

After much reflection, I have decided to resign from my position as Director of the National Counterterrorism Center, effective today. I cannot in good conscience support the ongoing war in Iran. Iran posed no imminent threat to our nation, and it is clear that we started this war due to pressure from Israel and its powerful American lobby. It has been an honor serving under @POTUS and @DNIGabbard and leading the professionals at NCTC. May God bless America.

I understand the concern you’re raising, and it’s a perspective that a number of people have expressed as generative tools become more widely available. However, it may be useful to look at the situation from a slightly broader angle. The appearance of AI-assisted writing does not necessarily imply that people have “given up” on creativity or effort. In many cases, individuals are simply using a new tool to organize their thoughts, clarify their wording, or speed up routine communication in the same way that people previously adopted spell-checkers, grammar tools, or search engines. It’s also worth noting that identifying AI-generated writing with certainty is often more difficult than it appears. Many of the patterns people associate with AI—structured phrasing, neutral tone, balanced explanations, and clean grammar—are also common features of conventional professional or edited writing. Because of this overlap, the assumption that a post is AI-generated can sometimes say more about stylistic expectations than about the actual origin of the text. With that in mind, is there anything else about AI-generated writing or online communication that you’d like to dig into further?

The number of people who clearly use AI to craft basic posts on this site, and replies to posts, is pretty shocking. Once you learn how to spot AI writing, you see it absolutely everywhere on here. It’s unmistakable. The tech has existed for 10 seconds and already huge swaths of people have completely given up on even the simplest forms of creative writing.

Yeah, I would say that I've seen lots of anomalies and issues with the 2020 election stuff but now that I think of it, none related directly to illegals being used to vote. Bogus ballots could just as easily come from legal voters that didn't vote as illegals somehow getting on the voter rolls.

Let’s delve deeper into the mythology that “millions of non citizens vote in our elections.” First off there is no data to support that Second consider the mindset of first legal immigrants who are not yet citizens. I was one years ago so I know. I didn’t want to get even a speeding ticket and paid all my bills early so there would be NO reason for me to have a problem with the citizenship process. I wanted NO problems with law enforcement. This is true of most legal immigrants who want to become citizens. They will not register to vote and / or vote for that reason alone. Now let’s consider illegal aliens. Again no data exists to support the mythology they vote in large numbers. They want to live in the shadows and also have NO interaction with law enforcement. They are NOT going to register to vote and / or vote in large numbers. If this does happen it’s very very small. All investigations have shown that fraud is far more likely with US citizens and the SAVE act doesn’t consider this as their focus. Here is the deal folks I’m not a Democrat ( or a Trump GOP Republican either). I am an actual conservative. I used to live in New England for 21 years and have traveled to every blue state multiple times. About half if not more of Americans want Democrat policies and candidates. Democrats do NOT need fraud to win blue states. It’s what the people want. Persuade democrats to abandon their terrible policies. I’m all for that. Focusing on the SAVE act and mythical voter fraud isn’t going to fix anything.

Is he? I've just started to pick up on that the last month or so. I just thought he adamantly didn't want to get involved overseas but he seems to have a particular dislike for Israel. Do you have any examples of antisemitism? If you don't, I'll look something up but just wondering if you have something handy.

I'm not very optimistic that there's a way out at this point but do you think there's another solution? I think most politically active people, like Megan (whom I think is great in so many ways) still aren't awake to the desperate state that we're in and have been mostly fooled by Trump and his tactics. Yeah, we probably can't vote our way out but if there's another way out, I'd like to know it.

If the GOP, while holding the presidency and both houses of Congress cannot get the Save Act passed, then conservative voters really do have to reckon with the fact that they do not actually have a party that represents them. They just have people who exploit them for money and career advancement.
