Welcome to another 'You Be The Judge' (travel edition) The situation - When Tun and I are standing at an idyllic beauty spot, taking photos of each other, a kindly stranger will offer to take the phone and take a snap of us both together. Tun always does that little Thai curtsy and says "ooh thank you" - because she's too nice to say no. I always say "naa, it's ok thanks" and sharply turn away. I don't want you dropping my phone in the river and I don't want to have to delete your 30 shit photos. Tun says that by saying no, I am hurting people's feelings but I say give it to people like a pear cider made with real pears. Who is in the right? And before you cast your judgment, I'm aware that Tun is a much nicer person than I am.
