@WasersteinSteve @porterstansb @shaunmmaguire Of poor intelligence and warmongering by Republicans. These wars are bankrupting us. Let Israel defend itself. Let Europe defend itself. Let Europe lead and ask the US for help. Otherwise, we need to stay out of other people's affairs.
English

@WasersteinSteve @porterstansb @shaunmmaguire We should let Europe and Israel deal with it then. Let them lead the way, not the US. This is foolishness and likely based on poor intelligence. We've been saying the same thing for 25 years or more. "Iran is xxx years or monthsaway from a nuclear bomb!". Iraq is a prime example
English

@WasersteinSteve @porterstansb @shaunmmaguire I have my thoughts but wanted to hear your perspective first. Questions.....If this is such a terrible threat why isn't Europe involved at all?? The US has a terrible record with regime change wars, how can this go different without massive consequences?
English

I will repeat one last time. I think Secretary of State Rubio said it clearly.
1. Prevent or delay a nuclear armed Iran which will threaten and disrupt energy and food prices by controling Hormuz
2. The nuke Iran that develops a mise which can reach the USA and clearly already Europe
3. Staving of long term huge inflation and economic calamity because they control so much.
4. Preventing future deaths and attacks on U.S. soldiers. Irans is responsible for injuring and or killing thousands of Americans.
5. If there is a regime change perhaps the Mideast can be calm which save multi billions for all
6. Destroying or hurting a vast terrorist network which is imbedded in our hemisphere already.
I am sure there is more. I would have preferred a deal but Iran will never cut a deal and it’s a deal they will
Never abide by anyway. It’s unfortunate but necessary. Every president has stated the same things about Iran democrat and republican only one has the courage. Often times people do not make hard decisions and it makes matters worse much later.

@Ross__Hendricks Depends on when his cronies need to enter or exit their trades.

@KeithMcCullough Serious question since you are a risk guy... How do you manage risk in situations like Iran and the tariff fiasco in 2025 when markets rip at the stroke of a Tweet?

Sad and embarrassing for America 🇺🇸

5 minutes before Trump’s announcement: * $1.5B notional worth of S&P500 (ES) futures are bought in a single clip. * $192M notional of oil futures (CL) sold. More than 4x-6x any other trade size during the market close. Insiders profited from his lies in broad daylight!

Wow they actually did it… another war in the Middle East

Novo Nordisk’s next-gen obesity drug fails to beat Eli Lilly’s Zepbound… again.
NVO shares plunged 16% after CagriSema failed to outperform Eli Lilly’s tirzepatide in a head-to-head late-stage trial.
Since June 26, 2025, when we recommended Complete Investor subscribers sell shares of Novo Nordisk and buy shares of Eli Lilly, NVO has fallen 41.58% while LLY has gained 35.84%.

@DaleJr You can definitely feel the consequences of a bad day now. I'm questioning (and looking forward to watching) how folks like @KyleLarsonRacin and @dennyhamlin for example are going to dig themselves out of this early season hole. Interesting storylines already.

@wesbury @flogginvaughan Trump is not a Fiscal Conservative and not for small government. When we see the budget deficit shrink and debt start being paid down, I will change my mind.
English

@Scaramucci Damn, I needed this, especially the entrepreneur piece. Thank you.

Rule number one: get up.
Rule number two: no self-pity.
Rule number three: manage your expectations to zero.
You can curse all you want, but there are two words I don’t want to hear: should and ought.
Those are victim words. “I should have gotten this.” “I ought to have gotten that.”
Life doesn’t run on should. It runs on is and was.
I shouldn’t have been fired from the White House?
Too bad. I was fired. Deal with reality, not fantasy.
Everyone comes into life with a package — trials, setbacks, volatility. That’s baked in.
If you’re an entrepreneur, the swings are bigger. Higher highs, lower lows. That’s the trade you made.
So own it.
Stand up.
Take responsibility.
And stop whining.

@Ross__Hendricks I think Google is executing on AI the best via search results and slowly increasing pricing on their offerings due to AI the integration into their products. I don't see anyone really executing that well. To your point, how is Meta going to earn a return?
English

Everyone slowly, then all at once, coming to the same realization that the AI hype is exactly that… hype. Used to justify trillions in capex that will likely never see a return.
Forrest Knight@ForrestPKnight
Honestly, Ben Affleck actually knowing AI and the landscape caught me off guard, but as a writer, makes sense. Great takes across the board.

Mr. President: your decisive leadership in isolating this regime economically through your actions today are most impressive. Your promise to have the protestors’ back and put the regime on notice that you will not tolerate the killing has led to the largest outpouring of demonstrators against this fanatical regime since its founding.
Mr. President: I believe the Iranian regime has crossed red lines. They are killing their people in large numbers and mocking your leadership. It is now time to take decisive military action — no boots on the ground – going after those who do the killing.
Make Iran Great Again.
