Shame we didn't quite get through, the supporters would have great memories for life.
But there's no watering down the pain - these chances don't often come along. Those of us who were in Ireland (and the lucky ones who made it to Italy) will never forget the madness & street parties when we got to the quarter finals & gave the Italians a run for their money.

The incredible thing is that comic Dave Smith gets invited onto broadcasts with a huge audience.
He's perfectly entitled to his opinion but it's like listening to the "man in the pub". It's all second hand opinions he read online or in a paper.

@strategywoman @grahamlanz Father Noel Barber found the painting above a fireplace in a Jesuit house in Dublin. It was hung there after a doctor gave it to the Jesuits.
Fr Noel thought it was too good to be a copy and called in the National Gallery who went through a process and authenticated it.
