If @GregAbbott_TX actually cared about kids and was a leader for all, he would visit public schools regularly to see the great workforce he brags about. He would also get to see kids from all walks, who are involved in many areas, doing amazing things not measured but vital.

The JV Tenor Bass Choir got a Superior rating in Concert and an Excellent rating in Sight-Reading!

SMHS singers sang their hearts out at UIL Solo & Ens. contest this wknd! Many beautiful musical moments were made by these amazing young humans & we are grateful for great stats- 52 kids with a superior rating (22 state qualifiers) but the music they made was the true prize! 💜

We had a wonderful weekend at Solo and Ensemble at Canyon High School! We brought 59 solos, and 1 ensemble. Of those 59, 51 received 1/Superior ratings, and 22 advanced to state. Our ensemble also receive a 1 and will advance🫶💜🎼

@DreLamarr Just had my 2nd surgical extraction with bone grafts and implants, and a 3 hour root canal this week….. I hope you feel better soon :-/
