...choice voting is too easy to exploit -- and the consequences of that exploitation get more dire as the office on the ballot becomes more important. A better system, I think, for some elections is at-large voting for parallel offices, like the House or a state assembly.

...gets the most votes with a higher ranking? The system will determine a "winner," of course. But can we really expect all voters to understand that weighted system when they vote? Or resist appeals to a different system when their favored candidate loses? To me, ranked...

I guess I'm in the minority on this among the left, but I don't think ranked-choice voting is the way to go. I think it puts too much power into whatever system is in place to weigh each vote. What happens is candidate X is named somewhere on the most ballots but candidate Y...

Ever read the docket on a state utility rate application? Again, it's generally the utility making the rules.

"Individual A" has never been identified publicly and seems to want it that way. Hastert had at least one other victim, but he died in 1995. So it'd be tough to make those charges.

The Biden FBI staged a dishonest photo with purportedly classified material, with the approval of the Biden DOJ, and submitted it to a court to try to make Trump look bad. These agencies are irredeemably corrupt.
