A driver who killed a family of four, including two babies, at a San Francisco bus stop was sentenced to probation. Mary Fong Lau (seen here walking through the courthouse today) dodged jail and prison time. Lau, 80, was speeding when her Mercedes SUV plowed into a West Portal bus stop in 2024, investigators said. A family was waiting to catch the bus for a trip to the zoo. The crash killed Diego Cardoso de Oliveira, his wife, Matilde Pinto, and their two babies. JUST IN: The projected largest mosque in the United States has opened in Dearborn Heights, Michigan. The Islamic Institute of America mosque opened early to celebrate Eid. When completed, the mosque is expected to be the largest one in the United States. "Officials say the new facility will serve not only as a place of worship, but also as a hub for education, youth programs, and community events moving forward," TCD News reported.
