Congratulations to Brett Ligon on winning the Special Election for Texas Senate, District 4!

For only the second time in Texas history, the sitting Speaker of the Texas House will address delegates at our State Convention.
Speaker Burrows is also stepping forward as a sponsor of the convention as well. That has never happened before.
Before Speaker Burrows held office, he was a delegate and a precinct chair.
He’s sat in those same seats, had those same conversations, and understands exactly what it means to show up and help shape the future of Texas.
We are grateful for his willingness to not only support this convention, but to be part of it in a way that respects and recognizes the delegates who make this party strong.
We look forward to welcoming Speaker Burrows to the 2026 Texas Republican Convention and to a historic moment for our party and our state.

What leads someone from the church pulpit to the State Board of Education?
In this conversation, Chairman Abraham George sits down with SBOE nominee Kason Huddleston (@PastorKason) to talk about his journey, from decades of ministry and community leadership to stepping forward to serve Texas students and families.
A pastor for over 30 years and a longtime advocate for faith, family, and community, Kason has dedicated his life to serving others, and now he’s bringing that same commitment to the fight for education in Texas.
This is a conversation about purpose, leadership, and the future of education in our state.

This isn't just about schools - it's about what our kids are being taught to believe.
SBOE candidate Kason Huddleston breaks it down and says the line is clearer than people want to admit between education and indoctrination.
Full conversation drops tomorrow. This is something every parent needs to be paying attention to.

Texas wasn’t built on quiet faith - it was built on faith that stood firm, spoke up, and shaped the course of this state.
Next Tuesday at 6 PM, join the conversation with State Representative Nate Schatzline and SBOE Nominee Kason Huddleston.
We’re digging into where faith and culture are colliding, and who’s stepping up to shape what comes next.
From the pulpit, to policy, to the classroom - who’s leading, and what direction are we headed?
Hope you'll join us for this very important conversation.

Today, we lost a conservative voice that truly mattered to so many Texans.
Chad Hasty understood something many people miss: that informed voters are the foundation of a strong republic. Day in and day out, he gave Texans a place to hear the issues, ask hard questions, and stay engaged in the fight for our state’s future.
He connected people to politics in a way only he could, and that made a huge difference. From West Texas to across the state, his impact reached far beyond the microphone.
Please join me in praying for his family, his listeners, and everyone who knew him. He will be very missed.

When the world shut down, some people stepped back, but others stepped up.
Kason Huddleston saw firsthand during COVID what happens when decisions are made without the right voices at the table. That moment didn’t push him away - it called him forward.
From the pulpit to public policy, Kason is stepping into the fight because our values, our families, and our future are worth it.
Chairman Abraham George sat down with Kason to talk about that turning point, and why more good people need to get involved now, not later.
Full episode drops this Friday on YouTube.

A federal mandate could require new vehicles to include technology that monitors drivers and can limit vehicle operation.
This is moving now, but there is still time to act.
📞 Call the U.S. Capitol Switchboard: (202) 224-3121
👉 Ask for your U.S. Senator or Representative
👉 Tell them: Repeal the vehicle “kill switch” mandate
Currently, only Brandon Gill, Troy Nehls, Chip Roy, and Randy Weber have signed onto the bill.
Privacy matters.
Freedom matters.
Texas voices matter.
Make the call.

⚠️ What happens when schools don’t report abuse?
Too often, the answer is: more children get hurt.
On Tuesday at 6 PM, Chairman Abraham George is sitting down with Levi Fuller to break down:
• The 24-hour reporting requirement for suspected child abuse
• The 48-hour mandate to report misconduct to the state State Board for Educator Certification
• Criminal penalties for failing to report
• And why “handling it internally” has caused some of the biggest failures
Texas has passed new laws like HB 4623 and SB 571 to fix this, and we’re going to explain what they actually do.

Tonight, I am deeply grateful to God for His mercy and protection over President Donald Trump and all those gathered for the White House Correspondents’ Dinner.
I thank God for watching over those in attendance and for the courage and swift action of the Secret Service, law enforcement, and first responders who helped protect innocent people in a terrifying moment. We pray for the complete and total healing of the Secret Service agent who was shot tonight.
Moments like this remind us how precious life truly is and how much we depend on God’s grace and protection each and every day.
