Craig Breslow and Alex Cora disagreeed in spring training about where to play Marcelo Mayer and Caleb Durbin, according to @jcmccaffrey. Breslow originally wanted Mayer at 3B and Durbin at 2B. Chad Tracy said there’s no plans at this point to make a switch.

@Dc5997Arlene That’s right. But it’s not a good sign. He said he would likely get an MRI. X-Rays were negative, meaning no broken bones.

First Red Sox win of the year when they are trailing by 2+ runs. But that is overshadowed by the news that Roman Anthony is being sent back to Boston to have his wrist/hand looked at by the team’s specialists.
