That’s nonsense. Not being a slave to the system is one thing. Being unemployed is another. Spiritual maturity is not about avoiding responsibility. It is about handling it consciously. Some of the most grounded, disciplined, and self aware people I know build businesses, lead teams, and provide for their families. They are not escaping life. They are fully engaged in it. Unemployment is not a badge of enlightenment. Often it is confusion, avoidance, or lack of direction disguised as “spirituality”. Real growth makes you more capable, not less. More disciplined, not detached from reality. More responsible, not dependent on others. Freedom is not doing nothing. Freedom is choosing your path and carrying the weight that comes with it.
