This change actually coincides with when @IntersectMBO decided to “pivot”. I believe they originally had this in their budget, but then decided that instead of being an alternate Foundation where members could plan and coordinate strategic programs of work together, they would become a service provider to a chaotic free for all cash grab 😩
You were wise to jump ship and set up something that, at least in part, is what Intersect could have been.

There is some serious irony in this 😅
This was an Info action which required depositing 100k ada to the treasury to simply mark a milestone and share a message of hope for the future.
Now, when trying to get the 100k back, the request can’t muster enough DRep support to just simply vote on it (Yes or No)😢
Is this a signal of what this community has become? There was a time when we would have rallied around in support. Now we are too focused on paying tens of millions to make sure we “win”, that we can’t even help the little guy get funds from the treasury that should never have been there.

This is the epitome of the points I have been making lately about “if you build it they will come”. It’s been made abundantly clear at this point that is not the case. BD is extremely important, if you want Cardano to succeed it’s not optional anymore. Our BD and commercial arm have let us down to this point, not debatable. This is one of the main reasons I’m supporting @alphagrowth1 because I think it will shine a very positive light on the ecosystem we have built and allow us to have some reach outside of our bubble. This is the main reason we went out and secured our own relationship with @selloutio and tried to bring them into Cardano. It’s really not that complex of an issue.

@WelfBrandolf Why would it be? We started there, but we need commercial representation to make these deals. If you want them, then pay for them. Use the treasury to finance an initiative and seal deals. Or have learned helplessness over social media and earn bonus points for blaming Charles

To the certain individuals who keep being very bashful with their intents. You know who you are, just stop it already.
I once believed you, thinking you were a welcome resource in my work before, but all you did was come with negativity and criticism on everything we ever tried to do. You mounted your high horse and puffed your nose at my work, so I found people with higher horses than your own who validated every detail.
I'm at the point now where I'm not going to be in the bitterness cycle anymore. I forgive your behavior and hope you self-reflect. I don't need your validation. The fact so much got done without you is a testament to quality.
I stand on my own and I'm proud now you were never part of the story.

4. I recognize that I posted a bunch here on the socials while we were working to get the 5am proposal across the line, then got quiet again. Actual life has been anything but quiet. Didn't intend to "disappear" after that, it's just that time and attention are limited. Looking forward to sharing a whole lot about what we've been cooking at Andamio in the weeks to come. We're gonna bring the vision like it's 2021, and we will invite you to get involved.
