🌱 Talent is everywhere. Opportunity is not. Connections → Infrastructure ↔ Fund ↔ Catalyst → Impact Exploring how validator infrastructure and staking rewards might help catalyze opportunities for students.

We’re glad to share that AxonDAO is collaborating with @Fundesci. FunDeSci is helping push DeSci toward a more open and community-driven model for research funding and participation. AxonDAO is building infrastructure for consent-based data, compute, and research coordination. Through this collaboration, we’re working to bring AXGT into the FunDeSci ecosystem and create more ways for communities to engage with research across platforms. It’s a strong fit, and an important step toward connecting participation, funding, and infrastructure more closely across DeSci.

Situations like this are a reminder of how important it is to verify before trusting. In Web3, not everything that looks official actually is. This is exactly why Zero Trust approaches, like those being developed by @MetaCert, matter more than ever.

⚠️ @union_build I was contacted via DM by this account with an offer to become an ambassador ($1,200/week) and a request to book a call. Could you please confirm whether this is an official outreach? I’ve seen similar reports from other users, so I’d appreciate clarification to better understand if this is legitimate. Thank you.

SCAM ALERT @union_build 🚨 They’re DMing an “ambassador offer” for $1200/week Huge red flags: 1. The DM message screams scam 2. Union has NO posts since February 3. Their call link asks you to download malware. I simply checked this asking Claude if the link was legit. Claude said scam Stay SAFU fam ⚠️

Is the UK heading towards innovation or cautious control? 🇬🇧💡 Smart regulation could lead the digital finance race, but also narrow the field. Will 2026 be our moment or a missed opportunity? The choice is ours. #Fintech #UKInnovation

🌱 ⚖️ 🔐 The unconventional mind is powerful, but power without awareness is dangerous. I came across this piece by @Paul__Walsh, and read it carefully from my perspective as an educator and mentor. It stood out to me for several reasons, especially because along the way, in our classrooms, we meet students whose cognitive profiles make you wonder if they might be neurodivergent… and perhaps in need of clearer guidance from those of us who have the opportunity to walk with them, even if only for a short part of their journey. A few lines from the article stayed with me: • “...the same cognitive profile the education system spent years trying to correct.” • "Trusting your intuition is a skill that can be trained." • "Neurodivergence isn't a license for toxicity." But what the article brings into focus is this: The tools being built today can reach into the connective tissue of people’s lives, not just data, but patterns, relationships, and behavior. That’s where leadership begins to matter. As Paul puts it, the hallmark of a modern leader is self-awareness combined with self-development. He also reflects on something deeper: much of his career has revolved around two problems the internet has never fully solved: trust and risk. And we’re still figuring that out, in real time. I’ll seriously consider sharing this message with my students, echoing Paul’s idea: We can be brilliant. Neurodivergent or not. Build things that matter. But none of that exempts us from responsibility. paul-walsh.medium.com/the-double-edg…

Not concerned about the quantum threat to BTC. Rational human incentives will force the ecosystem to adapt long before the threat becomes practical. Still, with algorithms improving as fast as they are, a quantum-resistant upgrade, even if ultimately precautionary, would strengthen confidence and shut down a lot of lazy narratives.

INSIGHT: @Google says breaking Bitcoin's cryptography may require far fewer qubits than previously thought, with 6.9 million $BTC already sitting in wallets where public keys have been exposed and vulnerable to attack.

Is this the security posture we should take with $2.5 trillion at stake? Or should we take quantum seriously and migrate to post-quantum cryptography?

🚨 A new paper from @GoogleResearch (by @GoogleQuantumAI) is raising FUD around #Bitcoin: a future quantum computer could potentially steal transactions from the mempool in just ~9 minutes. Why is this relevant? Bitcoin takes ~10 minutes to confirm a block, giving enough time for that theoretical attack. But here’s the interesting part: In ultra-fast blockchains like @CratD2C (with finality of 0.5 to 3 seconds), that mempool vulnerability window may shrink significantly. By the time a quantum machine completed the key derivation, your transaction would already have dozens of irreversible confirmations. This suggests that speed + fast finality can help reduce real-time attack risks (mempool/on-spend). However, it’s not a full cryptographic defense, just a timing advantage while we transition to #PostQuantumCryptography. Important to keep things in perspective: Google Quantum AI’s work is theoretical (based on advanced estimates and simulations), but carries real future implications. Current cryptography hasn’t reached its end. Both blockchains and traditional banks use vulnerable algorithms and will need to migrate. This transition could favor blockchain-based systems: they are transparent and can upgrade through community-driven forks. Modern Layer-1 architectures with flexible governance may be better positioned to migrate toward post-quantum cryptography than rigid, legacy banking systems. Google Quantum AI points to 2029 as a target timeline. Thanks to the @GoogleQuantumAI team for this early and responsible warning to the blockchain industry and global economy. Better to prepare now than face surprises later. Would be interesting to hear other perspectives on this. research.google/blog/safeguard…

@JoinLifespan Just because epigenetic drift follows a predictable pattern doesn't necessarily mean it's causal in aging. Predictable patterns can form from stochastic reactions. Also you cannot fix all extracellular damages with cellular rejuvenation. More here: olafurpall.substack.com/p/why-aging-is…
