@nexgencpu @Ridzilla I agree about the store needing to be better in the Xbox app. They have definitely improved this, but they could make it even better. PlayStation is doing good work with the store in their app.

@ZanonGalt @Ridzilla Totally agree about having game time in hours, not days. Every time I look at that number I will either do mental math or pull out a calculator. Also, when talking about video games, people will almost always say, "I played X amount of hours". People do not say "7 days".

Minnesota’s legislature gave $1 million in taxpayer money to a nonprofit that was already ordered to pay back $1.1 million of taxpayer money that the state Department of Education identified as fraudulently obtained through the federal child nutrition program. New American Development Center did not fall under Feeding our Future. It was a meal site sponsor just like Feeding our Future. But the only two meal sites it sponsored were its own, claiming 2.9 million meals served for $7.8 million dollars.

Six fraud suspects say they will plead guilty this week in the Feeding our Future meal scam case. The seven on the indictment were all set to stand trial together in late April. They are a family, led by Ikram Mohamed, who allegedly recruited them all to take part and steal about $12 million in taxpayer money.

This is fair. Paul Thomas Anderson’s best movie in years. And one of his best ever. Also one of Sean Penn’s best roles. If you started it and turned it off because it seemed like some woke trash, give it another shot. The movie isn’t what it seems in the first 20-30 mins. It’s a banger.

Marathon canceling those GDC panels makes a lot more sense once you read the talk title. “Delivering a high-quality, stable live-service game.” Marathon peaked under 90k on Steam while Arc Raiders hit 465k, and the game is already taking heat over microtransactions and thin endgame. I’m hearing from a source on the GDC expo floor that Bungie is scrambling right now to get things resolved, and the consensus around Marathon on the floor isn’t great. Standing on stage to give that talk this week probably would have gone very badly.
