@antoinpreaubert @XFreeze That's the point. His goal is to make space logistics not just feasible but competitive

Patch 26.10 Preview!
Arena
- We're really excited that Patch 26.10 will be 6 teams of 3!!
- We're really excited to see how y'all like this
Patch 26.9
- There's been a lot of cool and fun things coming out of 26.9 social media 😅
- We've seen AP Statikk Shiv Xin Zhaos, people claiming 36% Winrate AP Ezreal is busted, people having a good time trying to figure out who Deathfire Touch is on...
- And also people trying to make some of the alt builds work, but alas they may just be too weak...
Systems Changes
- Probably the biggest chatter on the patch are Deathfire and Gluttonous Greaves
- Deathfire is looking a little too strong, especially in the laning case, but the audience it's landed on has been great in giving some of these champs a keystone they're actually happy with
- After the micropatch nerfs, the power level is in a much more reasonable spot, so just a small adjustment here
- Gluttonous Greaves has picked up a nice new user base, especially Fighters and AD Assassins who might not have another offensive boot option (outside of Lucidity)
- We think the boots are too strong, both in non-mid roles and in mid with the boot upgrade
- So far Stormraider's has landed a bit weak, so we're giving it a bit of a tap up
- One of our goals with the Dusk and Dawn changes was to help differentiate it a bit from Lich Bane
- We think we can give Lich Bane a bit of an upwards adjustment to further differentiate
- Will talk about champions tomorrow
Apex Ranked (reset regions)
- We're going to let Apex MMR's settle for another patch before re-evaluating whether or not duo should be re-enabled
- Have investigated several of the "Emeralds in Masters lobbies" cases, they have so far fallen into:
1. A player who didn't play much prior to the reset, so they are still starting from Emerald (as if they were playing in the early days of 2026)
2. A person who is climbing a fresh account and has a really high winrate (and close to Masters); though a reminder that this is not faster to climb than playing on your main
3. An Emerald (or multiple) duoing with another Emerald or Diamond player (especially Diamond player with a high MMR)
- So far, I haven't seen anything broken about these games; they are typically fair both MMR and LP wise, even if visual ranks look a bit off

@SkyrstLoL Shen is a huge abuser. He can get all his q stacks off instantly with this. Also wave clear is very helpful.

I watched PBE changes and this Statikk Shiv change is too BROKEN go live 🚨
Statikk Shiv now applies on-hit effects on every lightning bolt on PBE ⚡️
Riot designs systems around 3-hit passives…
then adds items that bypass them ❓❓❓
This isn’t small.
It fundamentally breaks how some champs are balanced.
Off the top of my head: Yi, Senna, Akshan, Varus, Yunara, Kog’maw, Kai’sa
Niche cases: Braum, Tahm Kench, Aurora (?), Ekko
Who else abuses this?

@NEACETWEETS so many people get caught in their own personal rat races, and few are aware of it. so many people get lost in "the grass is always greener" gym: always a bigger lift. work: always a promotion. league: always more LP. there will always be a bigger fish and that is ok.
English

You should be high ELO at League...
Your friends stop being good enough to hang, your queue times go up, your agency goes down. Every person below you judges you if you aren't permanently on your A Game.
Season after season RIOT artificially moves people closer to your level, lowering the value of the competitive ecosystem you have enjoyed for years and built an intense love for.
The rewards begin to vanish, until there is just an in-game recall left. Your time invested isn't even worth a 20$ backpack anymore. An intense competition for zero.
Despite the writing on the wall you keep playing. You lash out at strangers. You live and die off of nerfs/buffs to your champion. With every rank up you need to play more to maintain it. You neglect your friendships. You begin to hate every person that happens to be good enough to play with you.
And it's optimal to hate them, it's GTO to expect them to fail. And 45% of the time, by design, they will. You don't have time to play their role, to empathize with their struggles. You are known as the best "X" player on the server, and you are too deep in the hole to change.
You keep soldiering on, until finally you are completely alone.
Finally, you look back. The kids aren't really getting into LoL anymore. Your champion is weaker than it's ever been and you didn't even make a dime. You never had a streaming career, and your friend's list is just forgotten acquaintances from an ELO you hate.
You know it is only downhill from here. You keep logging in and you keep queueing. You mute all, you go next, the time blurs and you continue to lose sleep. You miss the gym more and more. Your season 2026 1000LP Challenger rank slowly declines along with your mental health.
You are a League of Legends high elo player. And now no one cares about your rank but you... And before long... no one will care about you either, just the way RIOT intended all along.

@mwas_jerry @Insan8ty_o @anishmoonka Also. Why are you just insta pivoting to a different intelligent designer argument. All I was saying is that the argument that our universe and world are perfectly built for us is the other way around. We were built to perfectly match the world we are in tautologically
English

@DealWithTheBens @Insan8ty_o @anishmoonka We evolved eh. Why are the apes not becoming humans all sudden? or nature just decided that, since we became human, evolution stopped at that point? I mean, you seriously believe that after Big Bang happened, every single living creature all grew to complex beings from one cell?

English

That one neuron connects to about 7,000 others. Your brain has 86 billion of them. Do the math and you get somewhere around 100 trillion connections inside your head. More connections than stars in 1,500 galaxies.
And each connection point is way more complicated than anyone expected. A Stanford lab found that every single connection contains about 1,000 tiny switches that can store memories and process information at the same time. So your brain is running roughly 100 quadrillion switches right now, while you read this sentence.
The wild part is the power bill. Your brain runs on 20 watts. That’s less energy than the light in your fridge. The world’s fastest supercomputer needs 20 million watts to do the same amount of raw calculation. A million times more power for the same output.
We’re still nowhere close to understanding how any of this works. In October 2024, a team of hundreds of scientists finished mapping every single connection in a fruit fly’s brain. Took six years and heavy AI help. That fly brain had 140,000 neurons. Yours has 86 billion. Google and Harvard also mapped a piece of human brain last year, a speck smaller than a grain of rice. That speck alone contained 150 million connections and took 1,400 terabytes to store. The lead scientist said mapping a full human brain at that detail would produce as much data as the entire world generates in a year.
A tiny worm had its 302 brain cells mapped back in 1986. Almost 40 years later, scientists still can’t fully explain how that worm’s brain keeps it alive. Your brain has 86 billion of those cells, each one wired to thousands of others, each wire packed with a thousand switches, all of it humming along on less power than a lightbulb.

This is 1 of 86 billion neurons in your brain.
English

@mwas_jerry @Insan8ty_o @anishmoonka Evolution happens over such a massive time scale that you'd be hard pressed to find any evidence of evolution actually moving forward in the few hundred years since scientists started paying attention to it.
English

@Kuroneel_ If these champs didn't have free pen they would need more base damage to function toplane. That would make them even more devastating against squishies than they already are. Trust me when I say this is a good design choice.
English

@DawnedEUW Nidalee would need like 2000 AP. 107% attack speed from Olaf passive. 70% from nidalee. Unless she's healing Olaf for 60% of his health bar, she will be increasing his speed.
English

@mwas_jerry @Insan8ty_o @anishmoonka I agree in general with what you're saying, but the perfect condition arguments don't work. since we evolved here, of course we would be perfectly adapted for this environment. You're putting the chicken before the egg a little bit
English

@Insan8ty_o @anishmoonka Move any of the planets by few CM and everything in our known solar system collapses... They are perfectly fitted and orbits the sun at a perfect system as well..... what are the chances of that as well from the big bang theory?....

Sir Top Gap retweetledi

@ExcaIiburrito bro YES he is a juggernaut who builds tank, but he is not a tank. there is a key distinction. mundo's primary role is durability and damage, unlike a tank whose primary role is durability and cc
English

I’m having an aneurysm from the replies
It ain’t that difficult people

aryasdemise@AryasDemise
An angel weeps when a person on Leaguetwt calls Mundo a tank.
English

@friendly_Sagitt @Spideraxe30 actual longest cooldown in the game btw
English

@Spideraxe30 This is an irrelevant nerf .
Still perma banning this shit.
His ulti is way too low on CD.

@Subliminal8910 @LookAtMyMeat1 Meme or not this has gotta be high level blasphemy.
English

@ragecvlt Bro the particle accelerator has 12 sensors on it and there's a small gap between them. You cannot be fr applying numerology to this.
