BBC News has shown a clear bias, giving Israeli victims more coverage and more compassion than Palestinian victims.

@4noura @stillawake Are you supporting Hamas? You know the war would stop if Hamas extremists surrendered and have back the hostages. As I understand Hamas want to eradicate all Jews, or any other group for that matter other than their version of their religion.

Israel does not have the right to self defense against territory that it occupies. It does not have the right to maintain an apartheid regime to protect Jewish supremacy. It does not have the right to commit genocide to expand its territorial takings & maintain racial purity.

@philhuwedwards @SpeakSarahSpeak I don’t think the average demand is 37GW day and night. Look here, it often drops as low as 20 GW every night. We’re a lot closer than you think. Take off nuclear, hydro tidal and solar and we don’t need much fossil fuels to make up the difference. 37GW is closer to peak demand

How many fires happen in coal fired power stations? Hydro? Gas?

@ao_thwaites @GMBGarySmith @gdh1961 If we can use tidal power to make hydrogen we’d be able to provide about 10x more kWh of heat in homes than if we made hydrogen and burned it in boilers.

@GMBGarySmith @gdh1961 So heat pumps across the UK, electric vehicle also so we taking the power away from Oil production and handing it to privatise energy companies. Secondly if Hydrogen is an option after this research, we could produce it in UK, using tidal power production.

I'm in Redcar, where last week the government abandoned trials of hydrogen for home heating. Scrapping these trials puts the future of the gas industry and tens of thousands of jobs at risk. Politicians must be honest about the realities, and the exorbitant cost, of heat pumps.

@GMBGarySmith The only dishonest thing here is the pushing of hydrogen boilers. It’s going to be so much more expensive than heat pumps. I’ve had my home retrofitted relatively cheaply by an excellent team of engineers from @OctopusEnergy and the heat pump is working very well.

@SL006 Oh dear! I think the industry should standardize using Bootlace Ferrules, ring terminals for any DC volt, too many installers just bunching the conductors and screwing them on.

@HibbsA @hipparchus2000 @Tytalus7 @InstaVoltUK @ElecHighway My argument is that if there is a space to park a car then there should be space for a charge point. We need better cheaper solutions for public charging and destination charging by installing mass quantities of cheap 7kWh charging.

@HibbsA @Tytalus7 @InstaVoltUK @ElecHighway I don’t have a problem with paying a premium price for a premium service if I need a rapid charger, but then more than 95% of the time I’m charging for 7.5p per kWh off peak, or solar. The thing it seems a shame for is people without off street parking.
