Zahi certainly did not forget. He has publicly stated that excavating the Osiris Shaft is his #1 favorite excavation of his entire career! He certainly remembers a discovery as massive and important to him as this It’s truly bizarre that none of the angry armchair archaeologists are asking WHERE the skeletal remains, Four Pillars, and the 6th dynasty 4,300+yr relics are now. Almost like they want to avoid that…🤔 Btw, I wouldn’t be surprised if Zahi didn’t write the publication and used a ghost writer, along with his many books 🤷🏼‍♂️

Here is another example of why Flint Dibble is his own worst enemy. From Jimmy Corsetti's @BrightInsight6 recent video we see the clip of him asking Zahi Hawass what was found inside the Osiris shaft Level 3 sarcophagus. And Hawass replies: "When I opened the sarcophagus it was completely empty." youtu.be/bJEYTjSM94s?si… Flint Dibble, desperate not so much to protect Hawass but to simply keep from ever admitting that Jimmy might be right about anything (JCDS), had to try and make a silk purse out of a sow's ear and tried to find a way to explain away the fact that material was indeed found inside that sarcophagus, contra Hawass in the interview. First, Dibble tries to insist there is a very strong distinction between "skeletal remains" and "mummy", as if the former isn't simply the degraded remains of the latter. Then we get this: "So, when he [Hawass] says the sarcophagus was empty what he means is that it was empty of any Old Kingdom stuff." youtube.com/live/w-6xEp1kO… Absolutely not. As you can see from the first clip, Hawass clearly said "completely empty", and there is no way you can pretend he simply meant full of 26th Dynasty remains but not Old Kingdom ones. This is absolutely dishonest on Dibble's part and if he wants to scream about others lying he'd better remove that beam in his own eye first. Perhaps Hawass' memory is simply fading in his old age but there is no way you can try and say that Hawass is a reliable or honest witness here. He either doesn't remember this excavation or he was simply lying. And, if he actually doesn't remember then he damned well should have said "I don't remember". But he didn't. He said with assurance that he had found that tomb "completely empty" and that is why Jimmy is correct - Zahi Hawass lied in the interview.

Kroatien ist beim diesjährigen Eurovision Song Contest (ESC) mit dem Song „Andromeda“ aufgetreten. Worüber keiner im Vorfeld sprach und was auch der grottenschlechte Kommentator der ARD (Thorsten Schorn) mit keinem Wort erwähnte ist der Hintergrund und die Bedeutung des Liedes. Es wurde anders als der albanische Beitrag auch nicht übersetzt, vermutlich aus purer Absicht um den Zuhörern die Tiefe des Songs vorzuenthalten, stattdessen erzählte Thorsten Schorn irgendwas belangloses mal ganz abgesehen von seinem insgesamt cringe Auftritt. Die Band, bestehend aus fünf Frauen, -alle tätowiert- singt über ein fast vergessenes Kapitel der Balkangeschichte: Es handelt von einer Zeit der Besatzung, als die Osmanen bis vor die Tore Österreichs vorrückten und Teile der kroatischen Bevölkerung auf dem Balkan -vor allem dem heutigen Bosnien Herzegowina- islamisierten. Deswegen ist heute übrigens ein Großteil der bosnischen Bevölkerung muslimisch. Während dieser osmanischen Herrschaft tätowierten sich kroatisch-katholische Frauen in Bosnien Kreuze und Symbole in die Haut um sich vor Osmanen zu schützen, die tätowierte Frauen verwehrten. Dieses rituelle Tätowieren wird als „Šicanje" bezeichnet, war sehr schmerzhaft und wurde bei jungen Frauen und Mädchen bereits ab einem frühen Alter (+3 Jahre) praktiziert. Es galt als Schutz vor den Osmanen, die während ihres Eroberungsfeldzugs die starken Söhne raubten, die jungen Mädchen ehelichten oder das Recht der ersten Nacht für sich beanspruchten (sie also schändeten) und die Menschen unter Bedrohung des eigenen Lebens zur Konversion zum Islam zwangen. Ich kann mich erinnern, als ich klein war, dass ich mich über die sichtbaren Tätowierungen der alten Frauen gewundert habe. Sie trugen sie sichtbar an den Händen, Armen, Brust und im Gesicht. Für unsere Großmütter sind diese Tätowierungen kein kultureller Schmuck gewesen sondern der letzte Akt des Überlebens und des Widerstands. Sie sind sichtbares Zeichen der eigenen Identität, das selbst Zwangskonversion und Verschleppung überdauern sollte. Diese Frauen wollten ihre Identität bewahren und sichtbar machen, auch wenn ihre Körper missbraucht und ihnen ihre Kinder genommen wurden. Deshalb haben sie sich tätowiert. Um sich selbst zu schützen! Die Band hat dieses Lied den Urgroßmüttern und ihren Müttern gewidmet und soll an die schwere Zeit erinnern und das Andenken an jene bewahren, die so viel Schmerz ertragen mussten.
