Why wouldn't it be chalky again? I think you have some SEC teams that are trying to win and some SEC teams that are clearly not trying to win.

@BudElliott3 Also last year was very abnormal with how chalky SEC games were. Which resulted in a glut of 10-2 teams. Which won’t happen again. Nor will the g6 getting two in. This year is different

@DavePrichard My son is the band and plays football. Both have periods. Band class practices the marching program (music only) during the fall, while the football team lifts and does conditioning. Band has outdoor practice after school 2 times a week for competition season.

@jdtlsprts @BudElliott3 Bud did a whole 30 minute podcast on State with David Murray. My beef with Bud is while he’s negative toward a lot of P4 programs, State is always the school he cites when he’s reaching for an example. He’s also said some derogatory things about Starkville.

We will see how the season goes. You may not be aware that State has not had a DC for the last two seasons. That made things more difficult than they had to be, and they going to be difficult, anyway.
