She/Her. I love cats and sparkly things. Too bad there are no sparkly cats.

incredible how cats can detect the softest most sensitive organs in a human body for the sole purpose of standing on them with the weight of the sun concentrated into tiny kitty paws

“But what if the person isn’t disabled”. 1. Mocking features associated with disability is ableist regardless of the circumstances. 2. How do you know that they’re not disabled? Even if it’s someone you know personally, many disabled folks aren’t open about being disabled.

Making fun of someone for how they walk (including walking slow) is ableism.

No law compels you to donate blood or organs to your child. If your child needed your kidney & you refused, you can’t be imprisoned. Your bodily autonomy over your organs is legally protected as a parent. Applying that equally to pregnancy is the argument for abortion rights.
LifeAfterTech@ALifeAfterTech

@pinkheretic As a father I can tell you I was never legally able to stop using my body, blood and organs, in caring for my children. If I did I could be thrown in prison. If I did and the child died I could even be sentenced to death. Maybe we should just apply the law equally.

@glitzernglamour The. I think it would depend on the severity of their sin and their mitigating circumstances. Sir Pentious was mostly good, so it didn't take him very long to be redeemed.

Because a lot of people only support redemption narratives when the character’s sins feel emotionally manageable. Characters such as Sir Pentious or Angel Dust are easier for audiences to accept because their wrongdoings +

And another thing about Vox redemption .. Why are people so against the possibility of a character who is Actually a bad person who does bad things , being redeemed in the Redeeming Bad People Show ..

@cbdmoonrock My mom has been dead for 15 years and once a guy wished me a happy Mother's Day at the grocery store because I am an adult woman who presumably either has kids or a mom. I have neither! I responded, "Thank you!" Not difficult to not make a stranger's day weird as hell.

instead of meal prepping on sundays, have u considered taking an impromptu and cost ineffective trip to the grocery store every single day of the week?

You receive: one delicious plate of peanut butter I receive: nothing, you are getting a plate of peanut butter because I love you and only that reason, don't turn around or look down or look at your paws or pay attention to any noise

Boomer women will see your naturally curly and wavy unbrushed hair and want you to brush it out into a big frizzy triangle, so that you have “brushed your hair”. (OR CUT IT OFF)

@tessiesbestie look, it's called the waiting room for a reason. it took time and money to build that room and to not make you wait would be disrespectful to the room

what's so interesting about washing the dishes right after you have a meal is how quickly the food goes from being your friend to being your enemy. it's upsetting to me.
