Lots to consider at selection this week ✂️ 1. While I like what Trembath does in the ruck, I don’t like it limiting his forward time. Darling can’t do it with the new rules. Don’t want to play two rucks as Xerri should play big TOG. Can Dawson play defence/chop-out ruck?

Here’s my round 1 team (assuming Hardeman is fit). League trends are heading towards pace and leg speed so I’m not sure how the 3 tall forward line + Zurhaar, Duursma, Curtis will work. But I suppose they all start. Also haven’t picked him but can’t see C Daniel missing out.

@kangamerchant Yes I listened to all the north segments today on fireball and they raised valid points. I wish they had brought up our reluctance to just play Trembath. What on earth are they sitting on. They need to just select Trembath. What's their problem? He has proven over CCJ.

Heard it mentioned on SEN that we are lacking leg speed - fair. That’s why a half back line of McKercher, Hardeman, Blamires genuinely excites and could transform the ball movement. All can run and carry and penetrate through layers of defence. Add the wildcard of Goater…

@DryburghTom Don't be so sure. It's been shared that Mckerch enjoys the Melbourne suburbia lifestyle, and sure to go home is tempting but so is the life he's creating here. Small things matter to me as well, if he didn't want or wasn't invested in the club why would he agree to this photo.
