@pacoverdale @BBCNews In this case, they were outside, walking around a Christmas lights display. I know exactly the thing, as I went to one at Kingston Lacy for several years, and felt it was almost dangerously crowded at times. The pressure of the crowd pushes you along.

@BBCNews I’ve been in NT cafes where parents let their children run around without seeming to care that people are carrying trays with hot drinks. It works both ways.

@BBCNews Can't believe some of the nasty comments on here. It's not their fault that an idiot with a hot drink and no lid bumped into the poor boy. Those National Trust Christmas light events get pretty crowded.

Went to a London funfair today where they give every child a wristband with the parent’s contact details in case they get lost. It’s the best simplest idea I’ve seen in years. Like, duh!!! 💡 💡💡 Why doesn’t this happen at every theme park/ zoo/ soft play centre?!

@CartoonGravity I'd buy it (the entire series) in an audiobook format. It's about the only thing on BBC Sounds that I re-listen to from time to time.
