@RobertFosterMS I still don’t understand how those judicial districts got out of the legislature. On the legislative side, only one of the three members of the SBEC pushed to immediately challenge the result. I was outvoted 2-1.

THE RULE OF LAW WILL NOT BEND FOR CONVENIENCE The Supreme Court just delivered a monumental victory for constitutional order by vacating Alabama’s racially gerrymandered, court-enforced congressional map - right in the middle of a primary. For too long, activist lower courts have weaponized race-conscious redistricting under the guise of "protection." SCOTUS just drew a hard line in the sand, standing firmly behind the precedent set in Louisiana v. Callais. The message from the High Court is loud and clear: The Constitution demands that we allocate political power based on citizens, not race. Naturally, the legacy media and partisan groups are screaming "chaos" because ballots are already in the air for the May 19 primary. But true civil rights are rooted in the strict, unbiased adherence to the law - not a rush to meet a calendar deadline with unconstitutional maps. If an election process is built on a flawed, racially segregated foundation, it is neither valid nor certifiable. It takes immense judicial courage to make the tough decisions necessary to secure our elections. SCOTUS is proving they are willing to do the hard work to ensure that our election architecture is legally sound, fair to every individual citizen, and fully aligned with the Constitution. No shortcuts. No racial quotas. Just equal protection under the law. #SCOTUS #ElectionValidity #RuleOfLaw #Alabama #Constitution #U4F
