I guess everybody now finally sees that Mississippi's political leadership is not conservative. They never have been. They talk a good game, but when it's time to take action, they make up excuses & tell us why it's better to wait until the next election cycle.

Wow, @MichaelWatsonMS just said it was @tatereeves and @LynnFitchAG that voted to settle the lawsuit and not keep our Republcian supermajority in the state senate. All they had to do was fight a little and hang on until the Callais decision came down. This is what I suspected all along when I heard the vote was 1-2, but it’s good to have confirmation.
Secretary Michael Watson@MichaelWatsonMS

@RobertFosterMS I still don’t understand how those judicial districts got out of the legislature. On the legislative side, only one of the three members of the SBEC pushed to immediately challenge the result. I was outvoted 2-1.

Mississippi could be getting praised on the national stage right now. Instead, our weak and pathetic leaders have once again dropped the ball. Remember this in 2027.

Today, we fed county workers out to clean up the massive piles of debris after the May 6 tornado in Purvis, MS. We will repeat this tomorrow, as well as next Monday - Thursday.

@SenHydeSmith @SenateGOP One problem with this. Nearly all members are wealthy from public office and insider trading that missing their taxpayer salary won’t have any impact on them. What an empty ploy!!

I intend to sue @jrpsaki and @MSNOWNews over the below clip. To be clear: • Contrary to her monolog and blatant lies, I have NEVER been on the board of ALT5 — not now, not ever. Any person with basic access to Google and willing to open a company’s annual report or proxy statements would know this. • I have had zero involvement in any merger discussions involving any public entity I do not run or control. • I have zero business interests in China. No properties, no investments, nothing! I joined this trip for one reason: as a loving son who adores my father and wouldn’t miss being by his side for this incredible moment. During the bilateral talks, @LaraLeaTrump and I went to the Great Wall of China. More to come… x.com/Emolclause/sta…

@alli_d_17 Heard @tatereeves on the radio this morning whining that is “complicated”. And that nothing will be done before 2027. Just in time for his term to be over and the next “State” elections to occur!! This is typical for @MSGOP!

Kudos #SCOTUS, and congrats, #Alabama! Alas, my poor, STOLEN #Mississippi. Redraw. The. Lines. NOW.
Unite4Freedom@Unite4Freedom

THE RULE OF LAW WILL NOT BEND FOR CONVENIENCE The Supreme Court just delivered a monumental victory for constitutional order by vacating Alabama’s racially gerrymandered, court-enforced congressional map - right in the middle of a primary. For too long, activist lower courts have weaponized race-conscious redistricting under the guise of "protection." SCOTUS just drew a hard line in the sand, standing firmly behind the precedent set in Louisiana v. Callais. The message from the High Court is loud and clear: The Constitution demands that we allocate political power based on citizens, not race. Naturally, the legacy media and partisan groups are screaming "chaos" because ballots are already in the air for the May 19 primary. But true civil rights are rooted in the strict, unbiased adherence to the law - not a rush to meet a calendar deadline with unconstitutional maps. If an election process is built on a flawed, racially segregated foundation, it is neither valid nor certifiable. It takes immense judicial courage to make the tough decisions necessary to secure our elections. SCOTUS is proving they are willing to do the hard work to ensure that our election architecture is legally sound, fair to every individual citizen, and fully aligned with the Constitution. No shortcuts. No racial quotas. Just equal protection under the law. #SCOTUS #ElectionValidity #RuleOfLaw #Alabama #Constitution #U4F

Note 4 “Republican” governors immediately and reflexively refused to redraw racist gerrymandered districts. 3—AL, SC, and GA—flipflopped after massive public outcry. 1—MS—still refuses. When will Republicans stop electing such impotent leaders? Where are the fighters?

This is really bad ya’ll. Update on Mississippi after the Supreme Court ruling on racial gerrymandering: Mississippi is now the only southern state whose leadership has refused to call a special session to immediately fix our unconstitutional racial gerrymandered maps. Instead, state leaders are moving forward with forcing DeSoto County to accept two new liberal judges elected from newly created “sub-districts” that the Supreme Court has now ruled unconstitutional. These seats were quietly added last session and haven’t even been voted on yet — meaning a special session could still correct this before voters are locked out. We’re also not getting back the Republican state senator’s seat that was stolen from us last year. Meanwhile, Congressman Bennie Thompson is heading back to Washington for another full term, and the “study committees” appointed for redistricting are stacked with known liberals and RINOs. This is a serious missed opportunity for Mississippi. Our state deserves fair maps and representation that actually reflects the voters — not backroom deals that entrench the same broken system the Supreme Court just struck down. Time to demand better. Special session now. Fair maps. Real representation. Our Republic hangs in the balance.

Great visit with @DeltaState President Dr. Dan Ennis to discuss DSU’s priorities looking ahead. I especially appreciated hearing updates on the university’s agriculture aviation program and the impact it’s having as a model for ag aviation training and workforce development in Mississippi and across the nation. Always love hearing about the Fighting Okra!
