Was fortunate to present Michal and my research in the 9th Memory Studies Association (MSA) conference held in Charles University, Prague, Czech R. The paper was on Kolkata's cemeteries and Ghosts- tracing conflicting hauntologies of division and cosmopolitanism in Kolkata.

Delivered an online lecture on maps and beyond for Political Science Major students. The invitation was a great opportunity to take geography beyond the conventional. Spoke on maps and their importance in politics,especially propaganda. Thank you Karan for the invite.

I am told I should not host @immersivetrails' new #ThisDayInHistory series because "I look bad". I've been told this so many times in life that I am now numb. This is exactly what I want to challenge by being in front of the camera. A plump, dark-skinned, balding person in front of the camera. Take it, leave it, abuse me- it just shows who YOU are!

The international seminar on 'Mapping Memory' organised by Loreto College was such an insightful event where I could share my work on documenting the Bhabnipur locality. It was so good to be able to listen to all the discussions on memory.

@SritamaBarna I hear you. The situations are so similar here. Along with nepotism. For a job post of two in a reputed college in Kolkata, 360+ candidates applied and were called for an interview.
