Looking through the comments, I can say I was disappointed by some people who initially acted like serious business professionals but eventually ran away and couldn't give a direct answer to a very simple question: how much is a 5kWh or 10kWh lithium battery? This would have been a great opportunity for them to advertise themselves, but instead, they ran because they couldn't reveal the price for reasons unknown.

I once saw one company that was offering an inverter, solar panel and lithium battery for about N1 million. They even said you could pay in installments. Does anyone remember their handle, please?

I believe Nigeria's civil service would be more effective if the workweek only included Monday through Thursday, with the weekend consisting of three days.

I believe the civilian leadership of this country needs some specialized training in public speaking and careful word choice when addressing the public as high-ranking government officials. They shouldn't speak arbitrarily or say whatever comes to mind; they must strive to be politically correct at all times. People are being killed, and you're speaking as if it's normal for them to be killed, kidnapped, or otherwise harmed. This gives the public the impression that you don't care about their safety or property.

My colleague asked me for a loan to bury her mother. After much pleading, I gave her 100k. A few days later, she came back for another 20k for transportation, promising to repay it as soon as she returned from the burial. She got back on the 25th of last month. The burial was on the 18th. We both received our salaries on the 31st. It's now two weeks since she returned, and she has not said a single word about the money. How do I handle this? Above all, love God.

My aunty and her husband live in Abuja. But her frozen food business is in Ilorin and is thriving. She tried opening a branch in Abuja. It flopped. So her whole heart, energy and presence remained in Ilorin. Her husband kept complaining that she's never home. She would nod, agree… and then fly back to Ilorin for business and owambe. The man endured. And endured. And endured. Then he stopped enduring and just found another wife. 😭 Now my aunty is running around like the house is on fire trying to stop the wedding. Ma, the man gave you plenty warning. The real gobe has not even started. The new wife works with a federal government agency. She is comfortable, she is around, and she is apparently very intentional about winning this family over. How do we know? My aunty's own children have accepted this woman. One of them went to the new wife's birthday party, came back with plenty gifts and was posting her on WhatsApp status like she just gained a new bestie. 😭💀 My aunty called my mum yesterday crying. Said her children are betrayals and she is going to disown every single one of them. Disown them for what exactly? I know I shouldn't find this funny but I can stop laughing because her husband is not broke o, this is not about money. The man just wants his wife to actually live with him.

Today’s Beautiful Hadith is about Taqwa. Abu Hurairah (RA) narrated that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ was asked about what most gets people into Paradise. He said, "Taqwa of Allah, and good character." When asked what leads most to the Fire, he replied: "The mouth and the private parts." (Jami` at-Tirmidhi 2004, Book 27, Hadith 110) Always be mindful of Allah and remember that everything happening at all times is from Him. Use this awareness to guide your life toward good and away from bad. Follow the example of the Prophet ﷺ in your character and be diligent with your prayers. Control your tongue, and don’t let it lead you astray by slandering others or gossiping. Protect yourself from illicit liaisons and obscenities.

I haven’t had sex in almost 5 months now. My wife says she’s constantly exhausted from breastfeeding and the baby waking up every 2 hours. I leave at 6am for work, and come back late, still help with night feeds sometimes and weekend chores, but she just rolls over and says “not tonight, I’m touched out.” I feel invisible and unwanted in my own bed. I've tried suggesting we plan a date night without the kids, she called it pressure. Resentment is growing fast. What should I do before I start looking elsewhere?

He has blocked me unprovoked so, I can’t quote his tweet. I was tagged to this video (attached) on what the Islamic preacher was accused of. I also learnt that the said Christian brother insulted our Prophet (peace be upon him). This is a really serious situation and we have to be clear that there are sacred lines that must be respected if we ever want this country to move forward. You cannot just go and insult what is most precious to a whole people and think it will not have consequences for our collective peace. If we do not respect these boundaries, we will never grow as a society. It is about basic human respect for the identity of your neighbor and the things they hold dear. It’s nothing too much to ask for. Having said that, we also have to be honest about the preacher's response. It is purely emotional and clearly overboard. Islam does not support this kind of thing where one person decides to be the investigator, the judge, and the executioner all at once. Taking the law into your own hands like that only leads to a mess that affects everyone and creates a cycle of violence. Islam is a religion of order, not a "do-it-yourself" legal system. The preacher has no right to call for a bounty on someone's head from a pulpit. That is a task for the state and the courts to handle. If we don’t abide by these rules, we would only be practicing vigilantism. And remember, this is a primary cause of fitna (civil strife and chaos), which the Quran warns is worse than killing itself. May Allah protect us.

If you've been honest, you'd tell them or remind yourself that Sahih Bukhari is not the only most authentic book of hadith, but one of the most authentic. Many scholars have reviewed the book and set aside some hadith based on knowledge and research, not just emotions like you do here. And again, even Imam Bukhari said he did his best to compile what he believes is the authentic hadith from our beloved Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, but if you find anything that contradicts the Quran, that should be his mistake, and we should discard it. Note: Just because you're uncomfortable with or dislike a hadith doesn't mean it's not sahih. Only a hypocrite disapproves of a hadith without knowledge and based solely on emotions.

You see this Sahih Bukhari? It started as the most authentic collection of the Prophet’s sayings. Now it’s become the go to reference many extremists quote to justify their actions. Child marriage? They point to it. Killing for blasphemy or apostasy? They point to it. Promises of rewards in paradise? They point to it. Face covering debates? They point to it. Music restrictions? They point to it. And many other strict rulings. From terrorists to hardline enforcers, you will often find someone pulling a hadith from these books to defend what they already want to do. So the real question is not just about the text itself. It is about interpretation, context, and how people choose to use it. How does something meant to preserve the Prophet’s teachings end up being used to justify actions that many others reject?
