People are concerned about paying their mortgage or rent, affording groceries and paying for gas, not about putting together a $1.8 billion fund for the President and his allies to pay whomever they wish with no legal precedent or accountability. This is adding to our national debt. If there needs to be a settlement, the administration should bring it to Congress to decide.

Ilhan Omar. Shri Thanedar. Pramila Jayapal. All born in foreign countries, none were citizens by birth. All sitting in the United States Congress. All making clear every single day their loyalty is not to America.
We just introduced a long overdue joint resolution proposing a constitutional amendment to require Members of Congress, federal judges, and Senate-confirmed officers to be natural born citizens. This is the very same standard the President and Vice President are already required to meet.
The people writing America's laws, confirming America's judges, and representing America on the world stage should have one loyalty: America. Not any other country.
For too long we have allowed foreign born members to hold seats in this government while making clear they are America last, not America first. We see it every day. This constitutional amendment will put an end to it.

Trump: We lost 13 people. In other wars, you lost hundreds of thousands of people. I get a kick when I look at somebody on television and they say, 'he's lost 13 people.'

@DAGToddBlanche I can't wait for you to be tried, convicted and jailed for your crimes against America. It will happen. Count on it. .

Over three decades later, we are committed to holding those accountable for the murders of four brave Americans: Carlos Costa, Armando Alejandre Jr., Mario de la Peña, and Pablo Morales. For the first time in nearly 70 years, senior leadership of the Cuban regime has been charged in the United States for alleged acts of violence resulting in the deaths of American citizens. @POTUS and this @TheJusticeDept are committed to restoring a simple principle: if you kill Americans, we will pursue you. No matter who you are. No matter what title you hold.

They weren't "young women."
They were CHILDREN.
How many more victims?
Who else is on these tapes?
Why the endless delays and half-redactions protecting the elite?
Full accountability NOW.
No more cover-ups.

🍋 Mediterranean Lemon Chicken Soup
Ingredients (Serves 4)
2 cups cooked chicken (shredded, rotisserie works great)
6 cups chicken broth
1/2 cup rice (or orzo)
3 large eggs
1/4 cup fresh lemon juice (about 2 lemons)
2 tbsp olive oil
1/2 onion, finely chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 tbsp fresh dill, chopped (or 1 tsp dried)
Salt & pepper to taste
Instructions
1. Sauté aromatics
Heat olive oil in a pot over medium heat
Add onion → cook 3–4 minutes until soft
Add garlic → cook 1 minute
2. Build the soup
Pour in chicken broth
Bring to a boil
Add rice (or orzo) → simmer 10–12 minutes until tender
3. Add chicken
Stir in shredded chicken
Simmer 3–5 minutes to heat through
4. Make it creamy (key step!)
In a bowl, whisk eggs + lemon juice
Slowly ladle in 1–2 cups hot broth while whisking (to temper eggs)
5. Finish the soup
Reduce heat to low (VERY important—no boiling!)
Slowly pour egg-lemon mixture into soup while stirring
6. Final touches
Add dill
Season with salt & pepper
Heat gently until slightly thickened (don’t boil or it may curdle)
Serve
Garnish with extra dill
Add a lemon wedge for brightness
Drizzle a little olive oil on top
Tips
Want it thicker? Add a bit more rice or less broth
Prefer extra tangy? Add more lemon juice at the end
Great for meal prep—just reheat gently (no boiling)
Flavor
Silky, lemony, herby, and cozy—like sunshine in a bowl

A group of Ecuadorian fishermen survived a US drone strike, were detained at gunpoint, phones wiped, ship blown up, disappeared to El Salvador, then released without charge.
“They knew we were fishermen. Even the Salvadorian authorities said things had been handled very badly.”
