@solipsismmusic @w0rdgenerator Like literally, you’re claiming you *normally* “walk” at speeds that would put you with Olympic athlete race walker medalists. Bullshit delusion.

@DedRedEd @w0rdgenerator I'm faster than every other walker. I've been like this since I was young. It's not my fault Americans are slow, I walk erywhere while you guys walk to your car. If you've not done it since you were young, you'll never achieve it. Tall people with long steps do less not more lol.

@wiseandboring @w0rdgenerator I regularly walk about 8 miles a day. Takes an hour. Plus the gym. However, I live in a really walkable city and I'm not married. Nor do I have children. So. There's that.

@wiseandboring @w0rdgenerator 5 miles in 40 min is an eight minute mile, roughly 7.8 mph. Very few people would call that “jogging” my guy. My son is 6’-1” 170, ran track in HS and runs a lot and is fit af. HE prolly cannot hit 5 miles in 40 min regularly.

@w0rdgenerator i dont live in a “walkable” city. i live in the mountains am not lazy and have good time management. 20,000 steps is roughly 9-10 miles. thats a 40 minute jog in the morning and a 40 minute jog at night. you can buy a treadmill or go to a gym.

People here either hate Math or never walked in their life. Let me explain 40 mins walking - 6K steps if you walk regularly. 12K steps just from your morning and evening walk. Now, you are not going to be a couch potato the whole day right.? If you are telling me you are not walking 8K steps a day sorry guys, you all fall under Lazy category. Even i dont go for walk, i easily catch up 7 to 8k steps day. Re-evaluate and be more active in a day. All your calls with mom, dad, bf, gf, siblings should not be when you are in bed. you should walk around in your home. drink 8 to 10 glasses of water. Dont use water bottle. take a stride every 30 mins or so once. park your car at the distant parking lot so you walk to and fro. Follow these and make it as a habit, reaching 15 to 17k steps will be easily possible.

@solipsismmusic @w0rdgenerator The average person is 2-2.4k steps per mile. *Very* few people can do 6 minute miles for an hour straight. None of them can do it “walking” ya dork.

@e_cdalton There are only a handful of natural lifters in the world that have obtained this, if any. I would be willing to bet that there isn't one player in any professional sports league that has achieved this. For context, Adrian Peterson was 6'0, 217 lbs and 8% bodyfat.

For every height, you’re going to have an ideal weight that looks best on you. For guys, this weight (pounds) should be maintained at 10% body fat or below, meaning you need solid muscle development: 5’6 = 201 5’8 = 215 5’10 = 230 6’0 = 247 6’2 = 260 6’4 = 280

The level of stupidity in this post is frightening. You know those are stress test and made to explode right? You understand the concept of testing all the breaking points of an object you intend to launch in space in a very limited window of operation and dont want any unexpected surprises? I hope the business you own is a convenience store or something where critical thinking is not a necessity.

Elon Musk remains the only person in history to explode 16 rockets in a row after his design was “solved”. Even after literally everybody in the world solved it 60 years ago. He remains a laughing stock of astrophysicists and engineers, and a hero of day traders. Tesla $TSLA RoboTaxi. Autonomy solved.

@MonicaMAlmaguer JFC the number of people that pretend to not understand how foundational loving reciprocity is to a healthy long lasting marriage, AND how what that looks like imposes clear duties on each partner is nuts.

@KaposkiDanni @marthann85 As a dude married to a woman that doesn’t view my family as separate from hers? Yep. If she only planned shit with her family and not mine, I’d duck out. Like it’s your family not mine. Fine. Ok.

@marthann85 But.. his family is your family. It’s your nephew as well. What an awful selfish lens to view the world through. If you want a hand with something from your husband, ask. But this mental load bs from women is so toxic & old.

I remember when my husband expressed disappointment that we regularly made it to my nephews birthday parties and sporting events and not his. I told him I take initiative to ask for schedules and find out when things were and didn’t have time to do it for a second family.
emily may@emilykmay

he's not wrong, men rarely exhibit this. this is what women are talking about when they say they're burned out and exhausted and want a husband with equal initiative to give a shit about their shared life.

Ask a man to take out the trash and he just… takes out the trash. Ask a wife to get naked and suddenly it’s: “Why? For what? Right now? What do you mean?” If wives would just do as they are told, marriages would be undefeated.
