Israel is now killing so many people in Lebanon so regularly that the media has lost interest. Much like it did in Gaza.

Every baby born in Iran is screened for 56 metabolic disorders — for free. The tech behind it? Nuclear. Built by Iranian scientists. Iran is one of only 5 countries in the world producing these kits. This is just one example of our peaceful nuclear technology.

Proud to share my 1st story out as a freelance journalist & editor back on the market. Thrilled too that Shihab el-Dine is free & safe but this story stresses on exactly what he said: 1000s others are at risk. Even when the news cycle shifts away from #Gaza, #Sudan, #Kuwait etc

Opinion: As boomers die off, America’s anti-Israeli tilt is likely to harden. Fewer and fewer Americans think of Israel as David standing up to the Arab world’s Goliath. More and more associate it with heavy-handed militarism. ft.trib.al/4ZwB8Pw

Israel has granted a perpetrator of war crimes in Gaza the honor of lighting a ceremonial torch on Independence Day. By choosing Rabbi Avraham Zarbiv to represent “the spirit of the nation,” Israel is making genocide part of its official national ethos. “There’s nothing for them to go back to in Rafah and Jabalya… Tens of thousands of families have no documents, childhood photos, ID cards, homes. Nothing.” This boast was made by Rabbi Avraham Zarbiv, an Israeli Rabbi who perpetrated war crimes who has been chosen to light a torch at Israel’s Independence Day ceremony, today, April 21. This is one of the highest accolades in the country, granted to “exemplary citizens” who represent “the spirit of the nation.” Rabbi Zarbiv served about 500 days as a military reservist in Gaza over the last two and a half years. As a bulldozer operator during the genocide, he carried out war crimes of which he has openly boasted in videos he filmed, media interviews and public talks. Bestowing one of the highest civilian honors in Israel on a citizen who committed war crimes illustrates how deeply the dehumanization of Palestinians has taken root in the Israeli mainstream. It is yet another terrifying signal that genocide has officially become part of the national ethos. Rabbi Avraham Zarbiv is a regional rabbinical court judge for the settlement of Ariel, and head the pre-military academy in the settlement of Beit El that educates hundreds of Israeli youth. Choosing him as an “exemplary citizen” represents a state-level endorsement of the complete de-humanization of Palestinians, systematic destruction of Palestinian life and the governing logic of annihilation and ethnic cleansing in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank. Zarbiv is not ashamed of his actions, neither, clearly is the State of Israel. We’vecompiled some documentation here to mark the occasion.

Anas Al-Sharif@AnasAlSharif0

Israel just bombed an murdered the entire Aljazeera staff in Gaza city: Correspondents Anas Al Sharif @AnasAlSharif0 and Mohammad Qreiqei, killed. Cameramen Ibrahim Dhaher and Mo’men Aleiwa, killed. Crew driver, Mohammad Nofal, killed. All murdered in an Israeli bombing of their TENT stationed by Al-Shifa hospital. This means, a commander gave the order, and others executed it. This should be tracked and made public, who killed the journalists. It wasn’t just a bomb. It was its manufacturer, and the Israeli commanders that are giving the order, and the soldiers saying yes and conducting the strike. All of these murderers need to be made public by name. Israeli state violence is made by people.

It pains me to say this & I don’t do so lightly, as the son of a Holocaust survivor, as someone who has lectured on genocide prevention at Auschwitz, where my mom lost dozens of her family, but Israel is behaving like Nazis. This is not self-defence, this is not to protect Jews, this is Nazism, this is a Holocaust driven by racist white supremacy

I don’t know how this could be spelled out any more clearly.

It's hard to focus on Israel's airstrikes in Lebanon due to Israel's invasion of Syria, which is hard to focus on due to Israel's atrocities in the West Bank, which are hard to focus on due to Israel's genocide in Gaza, which is hard to focus on due to Israel's war on Iran.

🚨 BREAKING | Egyptian Authorities Violently Remove Global March to Gaza Protesters The situation near Ismailia has escalated rapidly. According to organizer @Melaniebelizi, Egyptian forces are now physically removing protesters from the area and forcing them back onto buses. In a video sent to Drop Site, Melanie reports that several people were beaten, including one woman struck in the face. “This is an emergency,” she said. “We need help.” She added that some protesters may be injured. This follows hours of activists being held at a checkpoint, blocked from advancing toward the Rafah crossing. More updates soon. @globalmarchgaza

🚨BREAKING: Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (GHF) Director Resigns Jake Wood has resigned as Executive Director of the Gaza Humanitarian Foundation, the Israeli plan for aid distribution in Gaza that bypasses established NGO and UN channels. Wood cites an inability to implement an independent aid delivery plan without violating core humanitarian principles as the reason for his departure. In a statement shared by CNN’s Jeremy Diamond, Wood said he was “horrified and heartbroken” by the hunger crisis in Gaza and had sought to build a neutral, secure mechanism to get food to civilians. But he concluded that GHF could not maintain “humanity, neutrality, impartiality, and independence” under current conditions. He urged Israel to “significantly expand the provision of aid into Gaza through all mechanisms” and urged all stakeholders to pursue “innovative new methods for the delivery of aid, without delay, diversion, or discrimination.”
