Except cricket, no other Indian team (individual or team) is within top 5 of other sports. 2nd best is men’s hockey & badminton, rank 8. Best ranked men’s & women’s singles players is 9 & 6. Women’s hockey is 9. That explains why we love only cricket. No other team wins anything. PS: I am discounting Kabaddi here as it is essentially an Indian sport. Nothing wrong with it.
