Wildfire smoke will be pouring into Michigan over the next 36 hours as out-of-control Canadian fires continue. The ridge of high pressure that's delivering our heat will serve as a thoroughfare for this smoke to ride in. Air quality alerts are in place beginning Wednesday.

Smell smoke this morning? Its coming from a wildfire outbreak in Ontario. While it should not impact air quality much today, smoke at the surface could increase Wednesday into Thursday, potentially reducing visibilities and air quality. High temperatures may also be limited.

This morning in Biddeford, Maine, a 26-year-old man said goodbye to his wife and daughter and left for work. Moments later he was dead, shot in the head by ICE agents, the second man ICE has killed in six days.

Another American community turned into a combat zone. ICE agents shot and killed a person in the streets of Biddeford, Maine. They are acting like Trump's racist secret police force because they know they have zero accountability.
It is long past time to abolish ICE, strip them of this unchecked power, and prosecute every single agent involved to the fullest extent of the law. Biddeford deserves answers, and the American people demand justice.

ICE shot and killed someone in Biddeford, Maine, today, just a few miles north of us here in NH. My thoughts are with the family of the victim.
Whatever the specifics of this incident, it underscores a dangerous pattern of reckless and unaccountable behavior by the agency. This is the second person ICE has killed in the last week. It must stop. ICE agents have shown time and again they are out of control. No more masked agents on our streets, no more killing and terrorizing our communities.
Congress must hold them accountable. #NHPolitics
