31.03.2021 Five years ago, the email that shaped my life crept-in. In my small room in Igboora, where I wrote hundreds of emails & Motivational statements, that’s the same location the email caught me unaware. After four years of trying and 25 rejections, the one “YES” finally came. Patiently, I’d waited for Ma’ami, an headmistress to return from her job, we’d cried together and I remembered telling her; “Our lives have changed”- I wasn’t wrong, it did change. Came to Europe, no kobo of my money spent, acquired two degrees, 2 Fortune 500 jobs. I’ll forever be thankful to God, Nigeria (Where those dreams were etched & gave me the requisite knowledge to be eligible for the opportunity) & of course to Europe for the enabling environment.
