@TomFornelli The sad part is, what they got back (the salary relief, Tibbs, Harrison) was actually great value... the problem is the Red Sox did nothing with the salary relief, traded Tibbs for Dustin May (lol) and then gave away Kyle Harrison for some reason.

Nobody has ever lost a trade as badly as the Boston Red Sox have lost the Rafael Devers trade.

@BallParkBuzz I don't think Bres is on the hot seat. He saves FSG money. People are still giving money to the Sox. He is profitable, even though the team is ass.

What I am very curious about is if Craig Breslow is on the hot seat or not. If he is, he should be fired now to allow time to try to find a replacement and give that person time to get to know the organization before the deadline. Breslow should not be allowed to make significant decisions that will alter this organization’s future. However I do not have confidence that FSG would move on from Breslow now even if they intend to move on from him after the season. @CasasGOAT my enjoyment is tied to whether I'm playing a game or not at the same time and multitasking. As long as you are listening and not watching, it is more bearable.

@BOSSportsGordo @BNightengale Pass. They wouldn't move Salas, and once you get beyond Salas, the organization is bereft of interesting talent. They have a bunch of inconsistent arms in A ball, and that is about it.

I can't believe I'm saying this, but the Padres can get fucked. Their top prospect is Salas (which wouldn't be available), and their other prospects are mid at best. Also super far away. I legit couldn't come up with a package I'd be satisfied with that they would actually do.
