@thebenchesclear It’s not about maybe needing him for a spring training game.. It’s about keeping him healthy for the season and not overworking him before being built up to work back to back days at high intensity risking his arm health for the season. .. but you know this.

What starting pitcher could the Padres possibly trade for? I’m stumped. This early in the season everyone thinks they can contend and standing pat. No front line guys on surely-bad teams like Cease a couple years ago.
