@ThePettiestLA Rui has been just as good as Austin & that's saying something bc AR has been awesome too. This Rui is a winning player. His rotations have been solid. He is rebounding like a boss. Combine that w/ his offense & 3 pt shooting, u have a protoypical NBA PF. Who needs PJ Washington.

@RunTheJules Best thing that could happen to Pete. It was becoming more and more clear how limited the pod was. No one better out there than an unfiltered Pete.

@RunTheJules Considering the stage of LBJs career (inability to play 82 gms, in game resting, less effort on D) combined w/ cba restrictions, there's a big risk that even good changes to the roster still wouldn't be enough. If its a season of developing the young guys, Im good with that too.

Mentally prepared for JeLinka not making a single meaningful tweak to the roster, then releasing some corny statement like how they "believe in the spirit of this team and locker room..."

@DeleteThisPost Lopez or Wendell Carter (if Orlando signed Hartenstein) are obvious targets. Better hurry though because there's that many names in free agency.

LA should probably grab a reliable big sooner than later.

@Klutch_23 Which makes sense because it wouldn't be a possibility until you knew (a) whether DLO was opting in and then (b) Lebron willing to take a pay cut

My guess is that Klay Thompson was probably talking to Dallas for at least a week or so before the possibility of the Lakers getting him even became a thing. Makes sense why they could be the favs cuz he was linked to Dallas way before the Lakers were even a thing here.

Trade Candidates Lakers could Absorb Into their $12.9M NTMLE (if they have it): • Kelly Olynyk ($12.8) • Steven Adams ($12.6) • Robert Williams ($12.4) • Wendell Carter ($11.9) • Matisse Thybulle ($11) • Chris Boucher ($10.8) • Jae’sean Tate ($7) • Nick Richards ($5)

@Yinoma2001 KCP rumored to be going to Philly. Paul George? DeMar? Could put together a package for Brandon Ingram?

If no Klay on MLE then what is a good Plan B that LBJ would sign off on (as he would have to take the paycut).

@Yinoma2001 I would trade JHS for a second rounder just to get off his salary, or use JHS and Vincent to go trade for a center. Robert Williams comes to mind.

Lakers guard rotation right now: PG: DLO (option)/Gabe/JHS SG: Reaves/Christie (RFA)/DK/Reddish (option) We will 100% have a consolidation trade.

@Yinoma2001 Makes sense for the Lakers to package 2 or 3 of Vando, Rui, DLO and Gabe. I'd be surprised to see all 4 of them on the roster next year.

@Yinoma2001 It.probably means no cam and no max. You are 100% right about vando, but Vincent is still an upgrade over both Max and Cam, so the Lakers should get better with him. Just hope there are enough games left for him to adjust to his role.

@Yinoma2001 I think AR can be either a starter or a 6th man but he needs to play next to a bigger guard. The way LAL uses him is his worst role - zaps his energy playing D defending primary ball handler or stronger guards, taking away his energy/legs on O. Let him be CJ Mcullom.

I'm still a huge AR fan, but I think LONG term, his best role on this team is the 6th man combo guard who closes games. Ideally, if you have DLO (or replacement starting PG) + a more 3/D shooting guard, and then having AR's ability to cook scoring-wise is optimal.

@RunTheJules I dont think it's a coincidence this is happening with Cam out. I think we lose a little offense with Vando but more than make up for it with offensive gains. I think Max is a net positive. Ultimately, I'm left with the same opinion. Less Prince minutes and bench Cam.

This is probably mainly just a new phone thing, but in the week or so since I've had the S24 Ultra, I've gone two days at a time without having to recharge. And that's with brightness/display settings being cranked up.

@Yinoma2001 At this point you have to wonder if the lakers management guaranteed prince a Starting roll on the team. That would explain ham's frustration And his stubbornness
