@exitplanetdvst @WSJ @WSJFreeEx @WSJopinion @jamesbmeigs @grok They killed not save, I was a perfectly healthy person until I had that killing vaccine 😉.

@WSJ @WSJFreeEx @WSJopinion @jamesbmeigs @grok how many lives did the vaccines likely save?
also...how many lives likely were lost because Trump lied about the dangers of covid in the early stages?

Forced liquidations due to excess leverage typically mark near-term historical bottoms. Situational Awareness at ~4x leverage & over $20B in assets at its peak is now wound down. While I heard there were at least 3 other funds in trouble, today’s rally may have fixed their issues.
I also wanted to put today’s rally in context. I gave the stats in my post yesterday about the historic meltdown and why “In summary, my view is that we could have seen at least a short-term bottom today with a strong rally ahead of us in the sectors most caught in the latest speedbump.”
The 10.7% rally today in the Morgan Stanley Momentum Index beats all but the 11.1% gain on 4/3/2001 during the dotcom bust. All the other moves in the top 10 occurred during either Covid (3x), the GFC (2x) or the dotcom bust (3x).
For the more concentrated Morgan Stanley TMT (Tech Media & Telecom) Momentum Index today’s gain of 19.1% crushes the prior 11.9% gain seen on 12/5/00 during the dotcom bust. 5 of the other top 10 gains were seen just since November of 2025 during the recent meteoric rally. There were 3 more during the dotcom bust.
While some give back is certainly likely in the days ahead given the ferocity of this one day move, I believe we have seen the near-term bottom yesterday due to the forced liquidations. I am hopeful the “speedbump” I started expecting back on my June 20th post is now behind us. Getting oil prices back into the $70 range with a decline in bond yields would certainly increase the odds even more.
I believe we are still early in the adoption of Agentic AI and the 10-100x increase in tokens needed since January relative to Chat-based AI.

“Backed by Silicon Valley tech billionaires (such as the founders of Stripe) and the high-speed trading firm Jane Street, he raised a few hundred million dollars to start his fund. By executing aggressive infrastructure trades, the fund posted massive gains (over 1,000% since inception). His personal wealth surged past the billion-dollar mark through his large ownership stake in the management company and accrued performance fees”

@CaryKelly11 I love meat but my oncologist keeps saying that meat and fats take up to 48 hours to fully break down and exit the colon not good if you want to avoid colon cancer.

1,226 pounds.
That’s how much ground beef I’ve put down in 7 years and 10 months of an animal-based diet and a lot of it was medium and medium rare.
Not quite a ton and not even to mention all the other beef I’ve eaten…
but if saturated fat really clogged arteries the way they claim, mine should be solid concrete by now.
Funny how none of the people who told me five years ago I was courting heart disease are around to act surprised that I’m still here.
I have eaten more ground beef in 8 years than most people have eaten beef in their entire life.
That’s not a brag.
That’s a message.

Greece is loading bus after bus with young military-aged migrant men and sending them home.
Not one single woman. Not one single child. Just the fighting-age males who make up the vast majority of the illegal crossings.
No hotels. No endless appeals. No "human rights" circus. Just deportation.
This is how a country that still wants to exist protects its borders and its people.
Meanwhile Britain keeps housing them in hotels, giving them phones, and pretending every single one is a child.

According to Goldman Sachs, we just experienced the WORST momentum sell off ever recorded.
These 10 stocks will make great long term investments:
1. $BE - Bloom Energy (-40%)
Just posted its first billion dollar quarter. Revenue hit $1.065 billion, up 165%, with product revenue up 215% and gross margin expanding to 33.4%. Management raised full year guidance to $3.9-4.2 billion, roughly 100% growth. Fuel cells powering AI data centers is no longer a story, it's a P&L.

@asklivermore Shit I have a limit order at $45 for DRAM hope it gaps down and fills at $40 after the KOSPI performance.
English

It's been a brutal month, and I'm not ashamed to share my losses.
All about transparency here.
I'm overweight on memory $DRAM and $NOK which have been hit hard in the sell off.
$NOK seems to be doing relatively well here compared to other semis
$SIVE has also taken a massive hit now being sub 30SEK. Despite what the bears may think, I don't believe the fundamentals of the company have changed at all. In hindsight, I should have taken profit/ trimmed earlier, but it's hard to balance that with my belief that the company will have its inflection point in H1 2027.
$AMKR one of my larger positions being down 25% today, despite strong earnings.
With all that said, I'm not worried about them in the long term. I dare say it's impossible for $NOK to be at 20xFpe, and $AMKR to be at 15x fPe in the long term
And with memory being continuously commented as supply constrained, can they really trade at Q1 2026 levels?

@WolfofX Wow, I need to do something about my strength which is none!

They saw a 77 year old woman standing alone at an ATM in Bromborough, England, and thought they had found an easy victim.
Winifred Peel was withdrawing money when three teenagers moved in to rob her. One pushed her aside while another tried to take cash from the machine. They expected fear. Instead, they got resistance.
Winifred grabbed one of the attackers, 19 year old Felix Stoica, by the collar and slammed his head against the ATM three times. The injuries he suffered, along with CCTV footage, later helped police identify the gang.
Within days, all three suspects were arrested. Felix Stoica, Florin Geblescu and Piper Dumitru eventually admitted their roles in the robbery and were sentenced to prison.
Afterward, Winifred revealed she regularly went to the gym and believed that staying active had helped her defend herself. The attack shook her confidence, but she refused to let the men take her money without a fight.
The three teenagers believed age made her an easy target.
They walked away discovering that courage is something no one can measure by the number of birthdays a person has lived.
