@MichaelPruser IMO, to me it looks like HD-87 will be an easy Dem win, SD-14 will be close, and HD-51 will be a Republican win

@AustinHellerGA Being a moderate does not make someone "the worst of our politics." Saying that an "entire civilization will die tonight" is the worst of our politics. You are a lost, defective activist. Retire, and go get a real job.

@hutchinson A lot considering Trump directly intervened to get colleges to do that

“Under Biden” What in the blue fuck does the president have to do with local police breaking up college protests and what authority did he have to stop that from happening??

@Demonrat63 @hpyarali2020 LMAO Platner +10. You really are retarded. You’d make a great government bureaucrat like Sherrod Brown. Some people just aren’t cut out for real jobs.

@xXMrJacksonXx1 If civil rights protestors had listened to moderates and not protested under the democratic presidents who were more sympathetic to them, change would not have happened for sure.

@Zack_AKA_Da_Miz @PeteHausen @stacycay Do you see the word administrations here 🤦‍♂️ I meant that to be presidential administrations, because you know, they were protesting for federally protected voting rights.

@Frasier67Blank @MattBoxer94 Just like every retard, you don’t have any actual arguments and revert back to just name calling and shaming. Come back when you gain a few brain cells

@fourdaloww @stacycay Take Tiananmen Square. Why did the movements stop after the massacre? If reforming China was truly a righteous cause, they would have kept protesting, right? But they weren’t protesting for life or death. So the crackdown silenced them.

@fourdaloww @stacycay That’s wrong. They serve as a deterrent when you’re not desperate enough. Protesting against a genocide on other people doesn’t sell as well because it doesn’t directly affect YOUR life. That’s why the right to protest should be protected unlike what people like you are fine with

@cbr_Olu @stacycay You don’t think Kennedy or LBJ were more favorable to the civil rights movement than Goldwater or even other democrats/republicans of the time? Delusional.

@MyDogMonkey @stacycay I understand that but the largest marches were absolutely under Kennedy and LBJ who both were more favorable than their Republican opponents like Goldwater

@Konstantk8 @stacycay What the fuck are you talking about? I didn’t make any reference to a lack of persecution for civil rights protestors. I fully understand the scope. My point was entirely outside of this conversation

@stacycay Ok good, let’s all protest the Iran war and Israel then I think everybody would be game. Not sure why the movement hasn’t started on that, I agree

@TonyGMendoza @stacycay The largest ones were in the 60s under democrats. Just like today, you can say there were absolutely Palestinian protests under Trump but the full force of them was under Biden

@Demonrat63 @stacycay Yeah, and Civil Rights protests also occurred under Republican presidents. They were just protesting to advance their cause, strategically, thoughtfully, regardless of who was in power.

@HellcatBruce The civil rights movement occurred under democratic administrations that were more sympathetic to them than republicans. Were they scared of protesting because the president was the lesser of two evils?

"We only protest Biden because we thought he would listen" Don't lie to me, you fucking punk. You never tried to do anything that intelligent in your adult life. You acted like a an ignorant little spoiled brat and now people are dead because of it.

@PeteHausen @stacycay The civil rights movements occurred under democratic administrations which were more sympathetic to them than republicans. They still protested with fury. Your ideological type was opposed to them and one of the main sticking points in the way of change, just like today.

@swordstress_ @MattBoxer94 He’s definitely got a specialization to nyc, but the reach he has outside of it is insane. Theres no point in arguing about hypotheticals that won’t happen anyway. The point is you have to expand your mind and realize there would be a whole campaign and debates
