A few highlights from todays Bristol rally. Due to various reasons I didn’t take a bus, which actually made a nice change! Nice to see a more modern Bristol bus being preserved with the B7.

There was something about that daughter message that was just a massive red flag. Really doesn’t sit right with me and I don’t know why 😂

“Phoebe” seems to be quite the celebrity. Being ex-Bournemouth Transport and in near enough original condition from service up until when the famous yellow bus operator ceased trading in August 2022. A tribute to the Bournemouth Transport workers.

Here’s my 2023 wrapped: Wishing all my followers a happy new year!! Started on the 03/01/2023 with my usual, 22398 for training, then later that week 22399 and finally passed my test in 22403

Tried an electric hire car. This @PolestarCars was great but on return the car hire company charged £60 to charge from 40% to 80%… it had done 98 miles! I’m all for electric, but to have spent £60 driving 98 miles in a Diesel vehicle would have been 11mpg (the same as my bus…)

I had to pop to town this evening after the school run. It’s funny how certain things evoke such memories such as darker autumnal evenings. Around this time in 2009 I’d now be waiting time before running the last service of the day to Dorchester on a 311…that was 14 years ago!
